  We have got 2 pets from there one for my brother and one for myself my baby cole was found at a shopping center and was there for 2 weeks before I met him he has his special quirks but I love him no matter what love them so much for their service helping me with adoption process couldn’t ask for more

  People work hard feeding the dogs and cats good place if you’re looking for a new pet

  I accidentally hit a wild rabbit in my work vehicle, I decided it was best to take the injured animal to the nearest possible humane society . .
  
  Shortly after arriving I was blown away by how quickly Pflugerville Animal Welfare Service staff responded to this poor animal in need! I'm grateful there are good people in this world that genuinely care about the welfare of animals!
  
  I was told the rabbit will receive the care it needs and possibly be released into the wild!

  This is by far one of the nicest shelters I’ve been to when it comes to sheltering felines. I travel constantly for work and will often get my “cat fix” by visiting a local shelter and spending time with their cats. The main room here is impeccably clean and tidy, the cabinet cages are clean and spacious, and the kitties always have food and water available. There are two visitation rooms for 1 on 1 time, and they have a full CATIO (screened in porch). Tons of cat beds, toys, brushes, and really nice cat trees/furniture too! Staff is extremely friendly, kind and laid back. These kitties are very well cared for. :)

  I was very surprised by how well kept and cared for the animals were when we first looked at the shelter. Especially after working with some of the Austin area rescue groups who often seemed to see themselves as superior to shelters, which they may be in some instances, but not in the case of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter. The staff and volunteers at the shelter are clearly passionate about their jobs, and are very knowledgeable about the animals in their care. After more than a month of searching for the right fit for our family, we adopted a dog from Pflugerville and are very, very happy! In the end, I was so taken with the care and knowledge shown by the staff and volunteers I decided to put in an application to volunteer.
