(July 18, 2019, 2:38 pm)I should have posted this years ago...shame on me. I wanted to say that we had a fire at our house overlooking Lake Travis a few years ago. We called the fire department and they showed up very quickly and were able to save the house, only the deck burned up. Without their efforts, we would have lost our home. I've also survived a bout of Leukemia, came back home where I had to relearn how to walk, talk...all that jazz. One thing I didn't know about, I'd have seizures. I had one 16 months ago where I was life-flighted to a hospital. This fire department made it there before the helicopter and helped get my messed up body onto the chopper, none of which I remember, thankfully.
