I used to travel from Slaughter to see Dr Snow up near Medical Parkway since I loved him, but when he retired I needed to find a new dentist. I am so happy I found Dr Chen since he's such a great dentist. I have had horrible experiences with a lot of dentist in Austin that recommend treatments that are unnecessary just to make a buck. I was obviously out of energy but she still remained friendly and professional. Not only was she professional but she went out of her way to offer drinks and offered to give my friend a ride home when he was stuck there because the installation was behind. “I recently had a tooth extracted at the Manchaca Dental Clinic, over all it was about as good a getting a tooth pulled kinda day could be, I wasn't in a good mood or super sweet either but Ms. Jan made it OK she knew I was scared for one and two in a great deal of pain, She talked to me got me relaxed (or as much as was possible for a person like me who is freaked out by the Dental Chair) she made it seem like I had known her forever. “I just moved to Austin, and today was my first visit with my new dentist, Dr. Smith. I am one of those people who is afraid of going to the dentist; so I was not excited to start all over again with someone new. However, that has all changed. Everyone in this office made me feel completely at ease. The front office staff were all so kind and helpful. The dental assistant/hygienist (?) was friendly, perceptive, and knew exactly what she was doing. And I honestly can’t say enough about Dr. Smith. He was extremely informative, reassuring, and obviously great at his job. In no time at all, he identified everything that needed to be done (or re-done) and quickly contacted my previous dentist to determine what next steps would be most beneficial to me (medically and financially.)
