  I purchased the 24x36 offset from LSG last year around this time. I love it but it really wasn't what I needed during winter smoking. I didn't want to be outside constantly stoking the fire so this year, I purchased the Insulated Cabinet mini.
  I could not be happier with this device. It works just like my Barrelhouse cooker with a ton more room and even more fuel savings.
  I ran it for 4 hours for it's break in cook and it was rock steady at 250 even with opening the door a few times. The temp quickly went back to 250 and didn't overshoot. I have to believe that the separate firebox was a huge part of the steady temps. I can check the meat and not shoot a bunch of air into the coals so they take off on me.
  When I checked the coals the next day for how many were burned. I couldn't tell they they were used!!!! This small bag will probably last me the winter with just adding some actual wood pieces each time.
  I highly recommend the LSG Insulated cabinets if you live in a cold climate and don't want to spend a ton of time outside tending fires.

  ATTENTION CUSTOMERS TRAVELING TO LONESTARGRILLZ: If you are due to pick up your smoker or going to visit this business, be sure to call ahead first because they are fixing to shut down Interstate 45 to remove a bridge sometime in November is the schedule as I understand it right now.
  10/30/19 the large insulated cabinet smoker is very hard to drain because the water / grease pan is not tilted towards the port that empties via the ball valve. I'm having a welder come and fix this because of this design.
  Picked up my large insulated cabinet smoker today after ordering it back in July. It takes around 12 weeks for them to finish it. I personally went down there ahead of time and took some heavy duty tie downs to have them welded on to the smoker, I did an awesome job. I also had them add an extra Rail and an extra rack for a total of 8 rails & racks. Haven't seasoned it yet, just wanted to write a review and talk about how wonderful Chris, Amber, and Tressa are, as well as Noe and Juan who loadd it up and put the tie-downs on it. I had it painted in a basic black and I also had them add the 8in wheels, the heat deflector, and T plates. This thing is a BEAST to move around LOL. They also sell green egg ceramic cookers and equipment that goes with it inside the store. Chris even threw in some Koozies and a free t-shirt thanks a lot dude.

  I bought both a 48inch grill and a vertical smoker, the "mini". That was 3 years ago. Loved them then. Love them more now! They were great to deal with. Honest, professional, helpful. And tonight I had a question, sent an email through their website, and got an answer back within minutes. On a Saturday night! If you are looking for a quality grill or smoker, pick out the model that fits your needs, order it, pick it up, use it and love it like I do. You'll be glad you did.

  My new insulated cabinet smoker came in mid January. Crated well, unit looked Great. Very heavy built, just what I like. Did a brisket after the break in burn, turned out perfect. next I smoked some cheese, 60 blocks, total of 45lbs. Used my a-maze-n smoker trays for a cold smoke, open up air intake, closed chimney, smoked for 3hrs. WHAT a batch
