  Only been here one time. Had a bowl of chile on a cool nasty rainy day. It was very tasty and pretty sure it was homemade and not dumped out of can. It was around 2pm so a little after the normal rush hr at 12. There was plenty of hired help and didn't have to wait to order. There were a lot of vehicles in the parking lot but did not seem like very many inside. Nice decor inside, all the tables were clean. Several TVs on the wall. I'd visit again or recommend just from this 1st visit.

  Outstanding. Never had a bad meal from here. Tasty and tender Chicken Fried Steak-- Potato Casserole is superior. Wife liked her grilled chicken sandwich. Service, friendly, attentive.

(979) 532-1799. 5 star alert ! I got the seafood platter special and it was absolutely amazing! Took a drive 45mins south of Houston to Hinze's Country Kitchen and had a great experience! The food says it best but the people were also very friendly and it was such a nice clean homey atmosphere.
