Our entire family loves to visit Dr.Slaughter’s office! The entire staff is phenomenal. I appreciate Dr. Slaughter’s commitment to his profession. From a personal experience, Dr. Slaughter’s interest in orthodontics has resulted in me having perfectly straight teeth, no cavities, and halting the degradation of a tooth that we expected would need a crown in 2ish years (it’s been 4 years and it still looks good!) I can’t express enough gratitude for his commitment to ongoing learning.
I’ve also taken my 2 and 4 year old for their first non pediatric dental appointment. They did so great and keep asking to go back! My 2 year old constantly asks me to open my mouth so she can count my teeth.

Finding a great dentist is like searching for gold! You look and look for a long time and when you have found one you yell Eureka! and never let go. I have been going to Dr. Slaughter for well over 10 years now so this review is long overdue. I always recommend him and his practice to anyone looking for a new place they can call home. They treat all their patients with care and respect. The hygienists are amazing (Naomi is mine and I had Ellie before she retired) and don't make you feel bad or shame you if your teeth are less than ideal condition. I actually look forward to my cleanings! Dr. Slaughter is very no nonsense and lays it out for you and lets you know what needs to be addressed and what he recommends but could possibly wait. He doesn't push or pressure and extremely knowledgeable. He is the only dentist that I have had that told me I have a geographical tongue! I also appreciate that he was open to trying out a dental floss that I discovered and he now carries it in his office! Seriously, the floss is amazing and you'll be both delighted and repulsed by what it pulls out from between your teeth. (Remember when pore strips first came out and you ripped it off and looked at it? This dental floss is like that!) He has switched over to having more eco-friendly patient favors and instead of a plastic sleeve there's a paper bag. All these things along with a fantastic front desk staff (shout out to Amanda and Keiona!) make going to this dentist a pleasure. Book with them NOW! You won't regret it!

Dr. Slaughter will do right for your teeth and overall dental health. He balances a conservative approach with the latest in dental technology.
Every hygienist has taken excellent care of me - is thorough and skilled; never harsh nor abrasive.
And the front desk staff is kind, accommodating, efficient, and pleasant to work with.
I highly recommend Dr. Slaughter’s office for anyone seeking quality care.

After having some horrible past dental experiences (military), I haven't been in a while. I was referred by a few people from my shop to him. It was a pleasant experience for sure. He was the most thorough dentist and explained everything! The hygienists were amazing as well and made sure I was comfortable the whole time they were cleaning. The front desk staff was quick with any billing questions and responded to all requests for changes to appointments. They even called me back and helped explain my insurance coverage. I definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a dentist.
