3 years ago I suffered a spine injury which left me in considerable pain and impaired movement. From the 3rd day after the injury I have been a patient of Dr. Harper. Both he and his primary P.A-C Lisa Dufner are amazing. They have overseen my care and rehabilitation. They have followed up with me when there's been a setback. I will be undergoing spine surgery shortly and am completely confident in both of them. Neurosurgeons are the highest trained of all surgeons. Top of the top. The toughest cases come to them. This team is not only great in the operating room but they are both outstanding people and great in the office visit. Caring and knowledgeable. I recommend them both without reservation.

Dr. Harper performed a lumbar spinal fusion on me following a work related accident in 2002 in Santa Cruz, CA. at Dominican Hospital, also I subsequently received follow up treatment at his spinal clinic. I can say this man literally saved me from a lifetime of pain and because of him I was able to get my life back and start my own successful construction business. Dr. Harper was wonderful. When he addressed my husband and I he put things in easy to understand language. He made us very comfortable. And his P.A., Lisa Dufner was phenomenal! She would be the definition of professional and thorough in the dictionary! Every staff member treated us with dignity and respect!
