  I was referred to them because my old neurosurgeon had been INCREDIBLY unethical. NeuroTexas is a breath of fresh air! They communicate clearly and efficiently, they have multiple locations, and they are patient-oriented.

  A great big Thank you to Dr. Waldron and his team! You took care of two brain aneurysms. You took the time to make sure everything was explained and your expertise, compassion for your patients, was just plain amazing. I am writing this review today because of you....   I needed spine surgery immediately in late December as I had been suffering for 6 months with excruciating pain not realizing it was my spine. I had been told by practitioners (chiropractors and pain specialists) other than neurosurgeons that my pain was in the soft tissue. I called for an appointment to see Dr. Waldron with NeuroTexas on a Wednesday and was seen on that Friday. As we looked at the MRI he pointed out that I had a bone spur and a synovial cyst in the lower lumbar region of my spine that were putting pressure on my sciatic nerve causing my extreme pain. Dr. Waldron explained everything in detail and answered every question I had. My surgery was scheduled within 10 days. When I woke up from the surgery I knew I had my life back. This was a 3 hour day surgery and I was in recovery for one hour. The next morning I got up and the pain was gone. There was almost no downtime (just being careful bending and twisting). One month later and I continue to be pain free and the incision is completely healed. Dr. Waldron’s assistant Katrina could not have kinder or more helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Waldron to anyone who needs spine surgery.
