“This place is amazing. When I brought my daughter here from another learning center I immediately knew I made the right choice. The staff is amazing and very caring about my concerns. My daughter had it rough the first day changing to a new school but quickly fell in love and I’m so impressed!! The cameras are great! I am able to watch my daughter and see her be socially active with her new friends. Best part of all is my daughter now asks to go to school and enjoys it very much! His teacher Miss Cara is the sweetest most caring person we are extremely fortunate, our son tells us all the time how much he loves his Cara. She just gives off a warm trusting feeling from the very first time I met miss Cara I Knew that our son would be safe with her and as you all know that’s the biggest fear of leaving your child in the care of anybody other than yourself. Every interaction we have had with little acorn academy has been a positive experience. Enrollment process was explained in great detail and Expectations for the parents and students were made clear from day one. No hidden fees or rules. Any questions were answered immediately. The staff in the front office Are AMAZING!!! Miss Stacy has to be one of the easiest people to talk, very approachable. “The reason there are either one star or five-star reviews for Founders is because you will either love it or hate it. We love it. It is a private school education without tuition. Standards are high and rules are upheld. Children are taught how to be better human beings, not just drilled in learning information. As a mother of six children with four currently in school, I could not ask for a safer and better place for my children to be. I feel as though we are on the same team with our teachers and staff in working together to train and teach our children how to be more virtuous human beings while learning the value of learning. No school is perfect, but if you are interested in disciplined studies and consistent standards, Founders will be the place for you. I have been in schools where standards shift with the wind and rules are not consistently applied. That is much worse than having consistently applied rules, even if you don't love all of them. We personally agree with most of the rules, but when we don't we always ask questions before becoming hypercritical. In most cases, there are good reasons for the rules. We also teach our children that it's important to be respectful of rules and authorities. As for the classical curriculum, I think it is an excellent place to start children, and we always supplement our children with information and topics that we want to include at home. We realize it is impossible for a school to teach all the things to all the students. And finally, it is my personal experience that every teacher and staff member at our school genuinely cares about our children and teaching them well. We are grateful to be a part of this school.”

“We bought a sectional from Sean. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we decided which couch to get ( we stayed in the store past closing) and he also cut us a very handsome deal. The furniture arrived within 3 weeks just in time for our housewarming party! The only thing we would have wanted is scotch guard to be included to protect the fabric. “I did a wedding here in October. It’s a very nice area for a beachfront wedding. They have a lovely outside deck and gazebo as well an inside reception area. There’s easy access to the beach and lots of parking. I recommend this if you are wanting a nice beach wedding on Galveston island.”
