“Having been out of the car buying game for over 10 years, I was already skeptical. Cars had changed quite a bit, so naturally assumed car buying had as well. I made contact with Subaru of Clear Lake via email. Crystal responded promptly with a quote. Initially, I rebuffed because it was not the lowest quote I had received thus far. A lot of salespeople would have told me to kick rocks and go buy the car at the other lot. Crystal responded by saying just come in and see if we can make a deal. I stopped by the lot later that evening. Crystal wasn't in but she left me in good hands with Bradley. He took me on a couple test drives, even went and got the same color in both trims. Nice touch. After cruising around Houston, we got down to business. We couldn't agree on a number that night. Told Bradley I'd sleep on it. No pressure from him. The next day, I sent over my final offers. I received two very attractive counteroffers and a request to come back to the lot. I told Crystal that I only could stop by for an hour, so if we're gonna do it, let's do it. I believe it was around 50 mins from when my butt first hit Crystal's chair to Crystal slapping the temp tags on my new ride. Courtney, the F&I manager, is simply amazing. No tricks. If you say no to something, there isn't any "NO! YOU NEED THIS! BUY! BUY! BUY!". I really appreciate that. Hopefully, I will hang on to my Subaru for another 10+ years. But if I don't, I won't hesitate to swing by Subaru of Clear Lake and buy another.”
