“Today I was in a real jam. My battery went out on my vehicle and I was walking distance from AutoZone. I called and spoke to Ivan and he was willing to bring a battery to me and change it out for me. I told him I could jump start it and drive it to the store. Once I arrived he looked up the battery I needed and he got his tools and carried the battery and tools to my vehicle and changed the battery for me. I offered to pay him and he said it was no charge. He did not even accept a tip. He told me he was happy to be of a service to me. It was real hot (over 100 degrees) and I could not park in the shade but he took his time, made sure my vehicle started and told me to have a nice day. This kind of friendly and above and beyond service has caused me to become an AutoZone customer for life. I will never go back to O'Reily or any other parts store. “We have a garage queen, C-250. My husband took her for every service and wash at the Park Place dealership when he worked in Irving. After he starting working at home northwest of Fort Worth, he became weary of the time and trouble, as well as expense of taking her in, so started the process of finding somewhere to take her that would treat her with tenderness and care. We made an appointment and I dropped her off with a pickup time, went for leisurely lunch with my adult sons. They dropped me baCk off at the appointed time and she was ready to roll as promised, at a great price (half the dealership price with everything serviced and reset and all her fluid were topped off at no charge.
