“Today started as a great day to go see my family and thus started on the road for a 5 hour drive with my dog. Shortly into the drive, my car absolutely stopped working and I was in panic mode as TX heat is in the triple digits and I was in a car with no ac...My insurance (will remain nameless...for now...) was called at 1:58pm and they recommended A One Mechanics for me to take my car. A tow through my insurance was expected in about an hour...text messages from the tow provider then said they needed a new provider....another HOUR for a tow...I called insurance AGAIN, tow promised in a half hour...And this pattern continued for a few hours....A One Mechanic was approaching closing time and still no tow and my dog and I were beginning to feel the heat...I called surrounding mechanics for help and no one had space for me...with no tow, I was sure I would be stranded who knows how long... Then, I finally got in touch with A One Mechanics myself, and thank you to Joey and Jacob who went above and beyond to help me when my insurance failed to get me a tow for 5 HOURS and I was in the heat and sunburned on my left arm. I called the insurance to cancel the tow and Joey did not hesitate to come and tow my vehicle as he knew I wasn't near home and this was an emergency. Through amazing teamwork (affordable pricing mind you 😉) Joey and Jacob were able to get my car working same day/night and are now mechanics I trust and will most definitely come back to in the future. They were completely honest with me and made sure I did not leave without a functioning vehicle.
