“This cemetery could use some much needed TLC. Its such a beautiful place to visit. The best time is the fall season. I'm not sure what can be done but if a fundraising is in order then maybe the city of McKinney needs to find a way to fix up the broken headstones or find ways to preserve the history of this cemetery. The grounds could use a better maintenance schedule as the weeds can get up past knee high. There is never anyone here as far as employee's etc... However during the pandemic its been an amazing place to walk and feel free from the crazy world of COVID. I taught my kid to drive here, we respect the site and pick up trash and such when we visit. Best place to take a photo, look for spooky things in the night and to learn about the area's history. I often see a women walking her dogs here and they sure seem to enjoy it more than the humans since its starting to look all to forgotten.”

“My wife and I lost our son four years ago. Even now, typing this, tears are streaming down both eyes. Many times I have to work all night and go home and pass the cemetery in the morning. I am not dressed nice and very tired, but I want to visit my son. Sometimes I have to use the bathroom at the main building. I come in looking like some ragged homeless person and I am treated like a visiting royal dignitary, always a smile and polite as can be. I am very grateful that I don't have to "prove" I have a dead son to be treated with 100% respect. I don't have to say anything at all, they treat everyone with respect and honor. I also know that any time I want, I can ask to be driven to the grave from their main office. They are very sweet and the few times I want to chat with them, they genuinely feel sympathy, clearly. Not an act. I'm the kind of person that if I ever felt otherwise, I'd be hesitant to go. They are wonderful and I feel comfort from their respect to all who enter.”

Rather than have all their stone selections crammed into tight rows, they make room for the slabs to face out in wide rows, so one can better appreciate the movement, color and characteristics of each unique stone selection. They will even let you come back (by appointment) and set up your stone in a bookmatched layout (similar to the photos here) so you can better envision your project. To top it all off, pricing is FAIR compared to others and again, the entire staff is stellar to work with. 5 star service for sure!”
