“I grew up in this Church. Born and Raised. I have known all 3 pastors that have preached hear in my life very well. Pastor Holmes who I grew up under, Pastor Carrier who was a missionary in New Guinea for I believe 32 years and now Bro Tallent. Pastor Holmes was not only our pastor he was also like a Grandfather to me. He was on our family deer lease etc. So spent a lot of time with him and his wife outside of church as I was growing up. GREAT MAN... Pastor Carrier is a Fantastic Man as well. Very Loving but to the point. I will always consider him a close friend. But I have to say as much as I care about them Pastor Josh Tallent holds a very dear spot in my heart. He has been such a good influence and down to earth friend since I have known him. He is a Spot On Preacher and I recommend anyone who want to hear the word to come and see for yourself. I have to be honest I only visit now from time to time. I am a member of another church. Not because there is anything wrong with Bethel. It will always be My Home. But still the fact is I have really gotten to know Josh over the past few years he has been there and respect and Love him. You will feel like FAMILY...”

“Will always love St. Mary Magdalene's! It was my church for too short a time, but while there, the community was one I hadn't experienced for almost twenty years. Being there reminded me of another diverse congregation I was blessed to be a part of when first beginning my faith journey and I hated leaving. SMM has a wonderful pastor in Fr. Montes-Vela (his bilingual sermon deliveries are unforgettable); a graceful and gracious leading lady in Mrs. Montes-Vela; members with a sincerely welcoming and sustaining nature which is not easy to find; studies that are theological yet down to earth; a zeal for community care; amazing music, that's both calming and joyous, and last but not least great fellowship with good food to match. I miss them so much and hope to be able to visit them again when COVID-19 restrictions as well as my own church obligations ease up and I can fully participate in the worship without a pressing care in the world.
