“If you enjoy hymns, good. But they could update musical accompaniment to improve music ministry. Hymns should be respected and not boring. Thousands of years of church history, blood, and sacrifice are chronicled in them. Sermon was an excellent discourse on scripture. It is a fundamentalist church which may concern some. Open carry-in service is ok with me...we are in Texas. But others may be uncomfortable. Elders espouse KJV only, which I never understood how intelligent people could hold to that. Scripture only claims the apostles were the inspired authors. How England's King James' chosen scholars to translate Hebrew & Greek transcripts into English trump the oldest transcripts is beyond me.”

“This place is trying to do things in beautiful ways that are different and intentional in having a reverent liturgy and music of a certain high quality, no matter the style of various masses. So many young women wearing mantillas is remarkable whether you approve of the practice or not. The altar servers are trained in a much more profound way than at other parishes. Fr. Kyle is a priest of unique qualities and gifts that can inspire and even sometimes quietly provoke. Any college ministry that has resulted in some seriously discerning religious vocations and has had a full FORTY FOCUS Missionaries come out of this center in the last decade is doing some remarkable things. This is a center that embraces many different facets of Catholicism rather than narrowly focusing on more culturally popular areas. As such, the JPII center has been attracting more and more families from the area than just a student population. Keep up the great work, everyone!”

“It is not called Cambodia Baptist Church--I do not know where THAT church is located.I went to Church of the Fields formerly 1st Baptist of Carrollton. They have soccer fields, baseball fields, sand volley ball courts, and basket ball courts outdoors. Indoors they have basket ball courts for church teams to participate. They have worship services as described on their website. They are conservative Bible teaching Spiritual relatively new church, part of the Southern Baptist Convention.”
