“Since I have been staying in irving I have gone to this church a few times. The preaching is very good..... The preachers always relate the Bible teachings to real life experiences. Every time that I have been there someone approaches me and introduces themselves and asked my name and they tell me how glad that they are that I came to their church. They also welcome me back. Everyone is friendly and inviting. Everyone is so real and genuine. It is truly a community church. Also, on a side note, they have armed police officers in the service as well as in a squad car outside. It is sad that we need police but they are thinking about the safety and security of their congregation and it makes me feel safer. I really really enjoy this church and highly recommend it.”

“I've been attending this church for almost 4 years now and I've surprised myself how involved I've become and how inviting the congregation is. I do not understand the indignant and borderline spiteful comments. If your primary concern is what denomination you belong to instead of how can I serve as a Christian for the Kingdom of God, then take time to reflect upon your priorities. This church has been through substantial changes and events, so its infrastructure and bureaucracy is developing. For a mildly religious person, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and warmth this church has provided to me, and especially others. We pride ourselves on our friendliness, food, and wholesomeness. Yes we borrow Catholic practices and procedures, but then again, Lutherans are practically brothers to Catholics throughout their history. I'm proud to attend and serve this church.”
