“My father-in-law is a member of this church. I often thought how crazy it was that he drove an hour to go to a particular Church. However when my mother-in-law fell ill and was in the hospital, Pastor Michelle drove in the middle of the night even though she does not live close just to pray with our family. Then after that every time I came to Houston I would attend this church with my father-in-law on Sundays. I completely understand why he attends this church.The people in this church are amazing, they are very welcoming, and seem to be none judgemental. I started to Lose My Faith a long time ago in organized religion. But after coming to this particular Church I feel closer to God once again. I'm very appreciative of the people in this church that has helped my family. Also I am appreciative that they helped restore my faith in the church, in his people, and helped heal my own person faith in the Lord.”

“Kinsmen Lutheran Church is more than a place of worship and praise, it is a community guided by God’s love that deeply touches all whom need grace in his or her life. My family and I are new members of the Kinsmen congregation, but for years before joining, Kinsmen was a part of our life. Our family first connected with the church through the fantastic Kinsmen Children’s Academy. I felt nerves about sending my little one to a church for a mother’s day out program. My nerves were quickly subdued when my child and my growing family were welcomed and cared for as if we were blood family. Four years later, all three of my children attend MDO, preschool & Camp Hope programs; and have inspired my husband and I to invigorate, rediscover faith in our life and family. Worship service may feel like a daunting task on a Sunday morning; at Kinsmen I feel lifted spirits that dampen any unrest. All are welcome, and encouraged, regardless of where you are in your faith journey. The leadership of the church relates messages of hope, grace, God’s love, that are relevant to modern life. The first worship service my husband & I attended together took both our breath away. Not only was the message about forgiveness in the context of family strife, we both thought and experienced the undeniable moment that we were receiving God’s word at exactly the time when we needed it most. Being a part of a service where everyone experiences the same poignant message and all have the same belief about praising this amazing life, grows my faith in God’s kingdom, and with my fellow brethren. “This is a Christian Spanish Church. This was my 1st church as a grown-up, and this is were I repent of my sins, and start working, an walking with Juses Christ. To a better place, I still go here sometimes when my church is not open. But this is a great place to be able to serve GOD ALMIGHTY. ???????????? I would also say the pastors speak English, and Spanish. I honestly don't feel a church should be rated, but because it is asking me. I give it all stars. ????
