“I live two blocks from this 711 and have been going here for years. There is an older gentleman clerk who smokes cigarettes who has worked there for a long time, and always gives me good service. Considering this location is behind the jail, and is overrun by homeless folks, the older clerk has incredible patience. I am surprised he has been able to tolerate such a job, Considering the rude people he is routinely dealing with. On the downside, this clerk works the most and does it all, and sometimes he has to close the store late at night, because he works the truck all by himself. Frankly this guy is a rare gem of a person, and deserves a big raise and better position. He has to be over 50, and the place is family run. And not one young man comes to help him stock the store he does is alone. Do consider this before you talk bad about him, think about his work and customer service ethics. Thanks for everything 711.”

“This place has new owners and they are turning it around. Clean safe place to park with smooth parking lot. Sheriff keeps a close eye on the trucks at night to make sure we are safe. Great staff and very friendly. You have to try the restaurant. everything is made from scratch, even the rolls. The guy that runs it takes great pride in his food. Saturday mornings all you can eat breakfast buffet. the breakfast burritos are HUGE. They currently don't have DEF at the pumps but he is working on it. Texan owned and Texan ran. This is the idea place to stage the night before running into the DFW area. 35 year trucker here and as mom and pop goes, it didn't get much better for country stores.”

“This Walmart fuel station offers easy on and off from the road. Station was very clean and easy to use. If you use Walmart pay on the app to get your gas you save three cents a gallon also. I recommend you get the app and then you link your card, so that you can save money every time you visit a Walmart gas station. Highly recommend the station for an easy visit.”

Only complaint would be that sometimes they will be out of a specific brand/type of cigarettes, and still be out the next week, but that has only happened about 3 times. I moved out of the area in 2021, but sometimes I will be over there a lot.”
