“What's not to like about this place? The store is clean and we'll organized and I have always seen that their employees are helpful and seem to like their job and the young man that checked me out of my purchase gave me a great compliment saying kind words to me. A great day that I am now able to purchase food as I have been struggling because of my husband who has left me destitute and done all manner of maliciousness toward me and now God has given me enough that I may now give to the poor likewise do also that the Lord commands to love your neighbor as yourself. Today I will be a cheerful giver as God has given me all things. My husband I forgive and pray he find the Lord and repent for the evil that he has done to make me suffer as I ask forgiveness of anything I did to make him so angry with me. I have not broken my promise to to him and will always hope and pray the best for him. Thankful that Dollar General is so near and that they are affordable as to give me more that I can give to the poor and hungry!”

“I moved to the neighborhood 5 years ago. I walk my dog a few times a day and the people at the Alon on Tennessee St in McKinney Texas are more personable and cater to everyone's needs. From putting my favorite soda on ice so it's very cold to seeing certain people who don't get out of their car and knowing what to grab and run out. The manager even shares breakfast from his native country when he makes it. The gentleman who closes gets off at midnight and stays until 12:30 or later to make sure he mops with bleach and covers every inch. During the day I see them checking dates for safety. If I moved an hour away I would still frequent the Alon because they don't only have, but have, earned my respect and friendship. Hate and prejudice have absolutely no home here. I can't leave a review without mentioning that the owner plays a very active roll in keeping up with everything and he trusts his employees to make important decisions and handle certain funds and tasks that I haven't seen in medium sized businesses before. I used to own a couple of retail chains and never saw a working system like I see here.”

“While driving close by, my cousin asked “Can we show them the fancy 7-Eleven?”— so naturally, we ended up making a stop. And fancy 7-Eleven it is. This might be the highest tech gas station I have ever been in. And I have been to a Buc-ee’s, Wawa, and even Sheetz and yes this one would bear them all based on sheer technological advancement. It even just looks sleek from the outside, and I swear everything machine in the store was touch screen and just probably way more upscale than a gas station really needs to be. But, this did make it way more entertaining simply to walk in and see everything. They do also have a taco restaurant/ fast food type deal on one side as well. The worker who checked us out was quite nice. It’s often said they do everything bigger and better in Texas, and this 7-Eleven takes that very seriously. Now I can say I’ve been to the fanciest gas station of them all.”
