“I went there for the first time after a dental emergency this morning (a family member is already a client there and recommended it to me ). From the very first time I called them until my first appointment the experience has been great! I loved the staff service and they gave me first class treatment. The Doctor was knowledgeable, respectful and not only straightforward about my dental situation but very cool! He took his time looking through all of my X-rays and he was optimistic about the solutions also I loved the fact that he was humming while doing my dental exam gently without hurting my teeth or gums. They offered great prices and a very affordable first time X-rays and exam that includes top notch equipment and sanitation and as a bonus that not many fancy dental facilities ever do, this one comes with a laser oral/mouth cancer test included in the first visit! I got nothing but great things to say about this place and my overall experience. I’m definitely gonna stick around for years to come.”

“I don’t quite know how any negative reviews are on here and I suspect they’re anomalies. The first time I showed up, the entire staff was having a “meeting” which was a baby shower for one of the people who work here. I think that alone says a lot about the company. I have a one year old and a three year old. They are SO family friendly. The toy room is great, the books they have are perfect and-get this- they have a changing table in the restroom! They take my insurance (Delta Dental) and it hasn’t cost me a penny with the exception of laughing gas for a cavity for my son. The staff is always friendly (they offer me water for my three minute wait!) and the dentist we see is incredible (Dr. Villarreal). She’s so great with kids. I also love that I never really have a wait when I make an appointment. I can usually schedule within the week and when I show up they get me right in. I will be bringing my kids here for a long time. I know they’re in great hands. Update: the docs also call you, too, to make sure you’re doing well. Amazing.”

“I dreaded getting braces, but my day was quickly brightened due to the y. All of the ladies of this facility were very kind, polite , and helpful. However I do have a favorite. Victoria is a very sweet worker. She makes lovely small talk, she explains and guides me through her work in my mouth, and answers all questions I have, in depth. I always looked forward to seeing her in the office; hoping she would be adjusting my braces that day. She is gentle to my mouth, always making sure I'm comfortable, and she has a great attitude. Victoria is the best! Excellent overall experience.”

He cares for his patients not only by working on their dental work but getting to know them by asking how was their day at school and etc. My daughter felt comfortable and loved all the staff at South Texas Orthodontist!!! Tiffany also worked on my daughters dental work and she is such a wonderful caring person, she would check on my daughter to make sure she was ok!!! I would recommend Dr. Bruchmiller, he has 2 locations that we would go to located on Tezel Rd. and his offices at La Cantera.”

“Dr.Covert is absolutely my favorite dentist in town. I have been going to his clinic since I was in elementary school and have enjoyed going to the dentist these past 20 years. His facility is also spotless and love the opportunity to get a quick teeth brushing prior to my dental cleaning, as they offer free tooth brushes and paste in the bathrooms. All the staff is friendly, whether it be a receptionist or dentist associate. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my scheduled appointment (which we all dread extreme wait times at the doctors office.) I would never consider switching to another dentist due to the standard Dr.Covert has set and will be truly sad when he decides to retire.”

“I've been seeing Dr Trevino for almost 8 yrs. I love him and his staff. I've never had a billing issue. If anything I would find out, I overpaid and would get treatments on that credit balance for a good while. They love what they do and billing is a tricky thing. Insurance companies change allowances all the time and luckily they document and appeal and can get claims paid. Military dental insurance sucks and as a divorced, military spouse with the same insurance company, my policy as a civilian is a whole lot better for me and my fam. Too bad I'm moving out of TX. Would take them with me.”
