The techs and assistants are compassionate and skillful at what they do. They do a great job of making you feel comfortable. The office environment is upbeat and relaxing. “I chose to come to this place because my husband, kids and myself have different insurance coverage and this was one of the few places that accepted all of them. I’ve had my fair share of different dentist offices as a patient and working for one.. and I know how hard it is to schedule a family of 4 and on the same day. I called and we were on the schedule for the following week and all at the same time, same day. (Another reason why I chose to come here) The dentist was really nice, made sure we understood what was being done. He had patients waiting while in the exam room with us. But it didn’t feel rushed, and just trying to move on to the next patient. he definitely made the whole process so smooth. The front staff was also great, they took care of all our insurance stuff before our appointment. (Previous office we always had that issue) Definitely recommend.”

“I’ve been to Family Smiles of Ennis twice in a week, and both times I’ve had very positive experiences! The staff are very friendly and personable, especially Chelsea! She has helped answer a lot of my questions and gotten me all squared away with the appointments that I need. The atmosphere is also very welcoming, which I really appreciate as going to the dentist can often be a chore. For both appointments I was seen by Dr. Patel and she is wonderful! She is knowledgeable and kind. During my first appointment she told me that I needed a root canal (my first) which was very intimidating, but she was very reassuring and positive! I saw her again today to receive a temporary crown for my root canal and overall my experience was very positive. I appreciate how Dr. Patel explains what she is doing and how she pays attention to whether or not the patient is comfortable!”

“This dental school is by far the BEST around!! Carla is an amazing women inside and out. The things she teaches you not only about the dental industry but also life lessons is absolutely one of a kind! You will NOT find a better dental school to attend! She offers hands on experiences that you absolutely need to know how to do in a dental office that most schools dont offer. I graduated from her school 2 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I can still call her if I need her and she is there to answer any questions I have. I gained not only my RDA license but also a life long mentor/friend. She will lead you and prepare you for a REAL hands on dental experience!!!! This school will teach you things other schools can't. Even now if we have new grads start at our offices we can tell if they come from Careers in Dental Assisting just by the knowledge they start with! It's amazing how much which dental school you choose really makes a difference!! So take my experience and word you will not be disappointed!!”

“This is going to be my dentist from now on! They gave me a free second opinion and were great at explaining everything. I chose to have an old filling replaced here, and I was very anxious because fillings have been painful at my previous dentist. But the staff here made me feel very comfortable! I didn't feel any pain at all. This experience made me realize that a good dentist should make sure their patients don't feel any pain, and that dentist appointments don't have to be scary!”

“Came in for a second opinion about my teeth and I am happy that I did. My last dentist handed me an outrageous bill and limited payment options. They thought payment arrangements for 350 dollars out of each check would be plausible. I mean, come on! So I knew I had to reach out and find hopefully another option. So I went to Affordable. The doc was very very kind. She looked in my teeth and found almost the same things wrong from the other dentist. However, the other dentist slapped paradental disease on my care plan that required a ton a 400 dollar laser treatment charges. Thank god, the dentist at affordable looked at my gums and let me know they are healthy and didn't use that scare tactic on me to have me spend more money. And they found me an amazing financing plan that I can actually afford! So I don't have to choose between taking care of my family or my teeth. I have not got the work done yet, So I will update my review once the work is completed. I hope it goes well!”
