“I first learned about Dr. Hughes over 24 years ago when my daughter was only 4 years old and I took her to the E.R. and there is where I first met him. I was scared to death as my little girl was having seizures and hallucinating. I thought she was at death's door but by God's grace and Dr. Hughes's expertise and compassion, my little girl turned out to be just fine. Come to find out, my daughter suffered from chicken pox encephalitis and that is exactly what this doctor said he thought it was and made all the necessary arrangements to get my little daughter set up with Children's Miracle Network in Lubbock, Texas where she was treated. And come to find out, my sweet daughter is now in the medical profession, herself where she passes on the same compassion that I would like to think that she learned from Dr. Hughes all those years ago. “What a wonderful service for minimal issues like an infected tooth, which is what I used it for. They were super quick and by the time I got to the pharmacy the prescription was completely ready, all in one evening. I will definitely use this service again for little issues that don’t need physically assessed. And for $50, you just can’t compare the convenience. Where I live, $50 is the copay you’d be charged at urgent care if you didn’t have insurance then you’d have to sit amongst the towns finest while you wait for 4 hours to be called back. I’ll take this service over that any day.”

“What I like about this doctor is that he is old school and up to the point, he really cares about the well being of the kids and will get on your case if you are just buying over the counter medication and giving that to your child. He wants to make sure that you follow his instructions and will rarely give your child any strong meds unless they are really needed. He really helps your child build their immune system. He will also give you his cell phone number to call him in case of an emergency or to keep him updated if you have to take your kid to the ER. You can clearly see he is not in the profession for the money. One time he asked me if I lived on the West side so he could go to my house to check on my daughter. But I live too far for that I could not take advantage of that service. I live on the far East and I don't mind the long drive to take my kids there with him. I have been taking them since they were born. One is 4 and the other 2. If you choose him you made a right choice but don't be sensitive if he gets on your case, listen and learn from it.”

“I had an appointment last week and found it very easy to schedule with the staff. Wait times were minimal and everyone was super nice. Dr. Fan seemed very knowledgeable about what was going on and ordered a couple of simple tests to rule out problems that have similar symptoms. He was very thorough and I did not feel rushed. He was also very prompt in getting me updated on the test results. His office is budget friendly if you do not have insurance or have a high out of pocket deductible.”
