“We had another company (Service First) come out to inspect our AC and the technician, although nice, was late and then told me that we had a non-repairable leak and our capacitor was out. He wanted to sell us a new AC unit instead but since it was very expensive I told him I wanted to wait for my husband to discuss our options. The technician stated he would leave the new capacitor in and could come back later but couldn't turn it on without charging us. I think this was a tactic to make us sweat and choose to replace the unit. In the meantime I called Martin at Alpha &I Omega AC Repair to get an estimate on what a new unit would cost and he was more than helpful and quoted it over the phone at half the price of the other company. I also asked if he could come out and look at it to get a second opinion. He was more than willing to come to our home after 5pm during rush hour to help us. He is an honest man and very friendly! When he inspected our AC he did a much more thorough job than the previous technician. Turns out, the first technician did not actually leave the new capacitor as he stated and actually took our old one. We didn't even have a leak! Martin was able to fix our AC at a fraction of the price and we didn't need to replace it after all. This family truly appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. He is very reasonably priced and we will be contacting him for all of our future AC needs!”
