“Years ago. Had someone recklessly/ threateningly follow me & my now late husband (not kids, in our 50's then) one night (no reason, just harrassing but scary) so pulled into fire station parking & I ran to door. No hesitation to help us, door opened, fireman came out, guy in car left. Relieved! Thanks for being there~”

“Took my grandson to see the firemen and fire trucks 🚒 none of the firemen were there. However, Travis, one of the paramedics was there. Travis took the time to show my 3 year old grandson around and let him sit in the fire truck. They took pictures together and Travis made this little boys day very special. He still talks about Travis almost a year later. Thank you to Travis and the Covington fire department for the memories this little boy will always have 😊 Love Xander and his nana”

“We were lucky to have the fire fighters from this station participate in a neighborhood boys / youth event on Saturday 03/09/2019. They showed up on time, shared their life experiences and and answered questions from curious boys and their parents! Your participation was the highlight for this event not to mention the impact you made to the young minds! Thanks for taking the time, I know we can always count on you when others disappoint!”

“We had a scare tonight with our son not being able to breathe because of a dog allergy. We called 911 for the first time in our lives and they were there in no time. They were all awesome to work with and made us feel at ease. Very knowledgeable and they explained everything we could possibly look out for. We can’t thank them enough. After we get in the truck my son who they helped said “I want to be a fire fighter”. Hopefully we don’t need their help again any time soon but if we do I know they will be there to help.”
