“Took my son to the Shallowater Clinic for his 9 month well baby visit and waited 2hrs before finally walking out because we hadn't seen Dr. Carreon yet. They are completely clueless when it comes to breastfeeding, the nurse weighed my son wrong, and even filled out the wrong questionnaire before she realized the one she was filling out was for a 9 year old, not a 9 month old. The curtain in the exam room had blood stains all over it, trash was really full, and counter tops looked dirty. Needless to say, we walked out after 2hrs and switched doctors!! ***UPDATE**** JULY 6TH, 2015 Dr. Carreon called me this morning to apologize for the way things were handled. This was my first time ever speaking with him and I must say I see why everyone loves him. Dr. Carreon's apology was very genuine, heart-felt, and from the perspective another parent. Speaking with him changed my whole opinion on his clinic and I look forward to giving them a second chance.”

As I sat a few feet away, I watched this marvelous Dental tech prepare my girl’s teeth and her psyche for the procedure. Megan has a true gift from God that enables her not only to do the dental work beautifully, but to also establish a real relationship with her patients. She was fun and jovial, and entered into my girl’s life in a way that was rare. My granddaughter later told me that the procedure was no big deal! “I took my puppy in to be spayed. She had not been to the vet before and she was so frightened her temperature sky rocked. However they were so gentle and reassuring with her that her temp came down and they were able to proceed with surgery. I've had many dogs at this vet and they never fail to take my feelings into consideration and realize what my pets mean to me. Their prices are fair compared to other animal hospitals in town. Their staff has always been kind and treated me with respect. Sometimes the wait time seems excessive however I know that they will treat us the same way with whatever time we need when seen. For these reasons we will continue to use the East Side animal Hospital for all of our veterinary needs.”
