“The staff at Nexus Home Healthcare were all terrific in assisting my mother-in-law last year. My 77 year old mother-in-law fell and suffered a bleed on her brain that caused multiple issues and needed multiple surgeries and procedures to correct. We utilized Nexus for in home Physical Therapy, Nursing and Speech Therapy. Brian served as her primary physical therapist. He was fantastic. He was patient with her, and we often saw improvements immediately after her sessions. Ashley and Jessi treated mom with in-home nursing services. Monica helped with speech therapy. Each one of them were professional and caring. The folks at Nexus were able to integrate the care she received from her multiple doctors and were able to be eyes and ears on the ground to ensure that her home environment was safe while she recovered. We are so grateful for each one of them. We hope we don't need them again in the future, but would not hesitate to call should the need arise.”

“I'm an established patient with Dr. Trusevich. No concerns with him as a physician but definitely have a concern with the office - which is also another important aspect of the total care that a patient receives. I'm currently on several medications for blood pressure. One of them is newer and does not yet come in a generic form (and is therefore very expensive). I expressed this DURING my appointment with Dr. Trusevich and requested a generic alternative that was less expensive. Dr. Trusevich gave me samples for the designer medication and a card to try to get the medication at a discounted rate. He promised that he would prescribe a generic alternative if the discount didn't work or was unsatisfactory. Later, the samples are gone and the medication (even with the discount) was still WAY more expensive than the generic price I get through insurance. SOOOOOO, I had to call the office to try to obtain the new script I had requested at my office visit. I spoke with Felicia who informed me that I (the patient and not a trained pharmacist) would need to call the insurance company to get a complete list of medications in the same "class" as the one I take but that are on the formulary so that Dr. Trusevich can select from one of them. Per Felicia, I could then call them back with this requested list in order to get the promised less expensive blood pressure medication order. I guess I'm now part of the extended office staff. Sarcasm aside - I don't feel it's appropriate to have a patient to try to obtain medication information. How would a patient know what to ask for or whether the information they were obtaining was appropriate? What if I missed a medication that would be more appropriate for my treatment because I'm not trained or familiar with what to ask? Seems/feels like there are some potential safety concerns here. Not sure whether to put this under bad customer service or lazy office staff. Neither one of those is very good. I really need this medication and it doesn't sound like the office is going to help so I guess in addition to trying to get this list of medications, I'll need to start looking around for another cardiologist with an office staff that provides better customer service. Unfortunate. Update 24-Dec-2020: I wanted to provide an update to this review and rating. The day after it posted, I received a call from Dr. Trusevich personally. He was extremely pleasant and professional (same as all my interactions with him). He said that the medication that I was needing to change was very common, that it has been in use for many years and didn't require a call to my insurance company for a list of alternatives/generics. He was apologetic for the confusion. He prescribed an alternative on the spot and immediately had the prescription called into my pharmacy. Thank you Dr. Trusevich for personally following-up on this with me. I really do appreciate it.”

Madeline starts your visit with the requisite paperwork and the first part of your exam. Wendy helped us with frame selections, checking pricing, insurance questions and even how we looked in the various styles. Wendy and Madeline were pleasant and genuine in a way that made us feel at ease and relaxed. Doctor Allen is very engaging person and again puts you at ease. I've had some eye issues over the years and have seen my share of eye doctors and specialiats. Let me tell you, he clearly knows his stuff and explains what he sees and his diagnosis in clear terms you won't have any issues understanding. “I went to Orthopedics Associates of Central Texas and My first few visits were a disaster until I was treated by Dr. Beg. At first I was skeptical because he ordered all of these xrays, MRI and bloodwork. Then one day...he told me he found the problem. Gave me all the details and what my options were. Very detail oriented, I was really impressed. Unfortunately my last visit was the week he moved to another city and wasn't able to complete the treatment. Now I'm stuck with quacks from Scott and White basically telling me that they can't do anything for me and he specialized in backs so he cant help me with my hip but his buddy down the hall can. So now they're gonna pass me along like a hot potato just so they each can get a piece of the pie. From my personal experiences, Scott and White has shitty doctors. Dr Beg if you're reading this, thanks again for everything.”

“Before placing my mother in memory care in March of 2022, my wife and I toured and interviewed 5 different facilities before deciding on Eagle Ridge in Denton, TX. Hands down we made the right choice. Caring for elderly folks in need of memory care is not a job to them, it is a calling, and they do it very well. Elizabeth oversees daily programming and operations and manages the facility very effectively. Nataki leads the resident wellness program and she and her staff of med techs and caregivers are always on top of things. The entire Eagle Ridge staff is tuned in to any changes in resident behavior and medical issues and keeps the family looped in. My mother passed away recently and our friends at Eagle Ridge treated her situation and our family with the utmost respect and dignity. We recommend them highly.”
