This may be just my taste - by adding warmth - a calm, older gentle person to talk about implants or other procedure - some plants, warm paintings - patient education on their website re' their services and style. John, one of the dental assistants came and sat down beside me in the waiting area. Can not say fully how much it means to a fearful new patient to be put at ease and laugh. My dad soon began calling New Hope Manor “home.” This alone was a huge testament to the level of comfort he felt in such a short time. I’d especially like to recognize, Perla and Maria, two of the most genuine, caring, hard-working, compassionate people I have ever encountered--they are the best of the best! Kay, the social worker, went above and beyond many times for my dad and our family. Lily, the director of nursing, is on top of her staff and is very professional. April, the activities director, is great, loves her job, and loves the residents. My dad always looked sharp--hair, beard, etc.--Lori and the in-house salon is top-notch. The cleaning staff kept the facility looking and smelling great. My dad had no complaints on the food--he loved it and they were always generous with whatever he wanted. Joe and his maintenance staff were always kind and helpful. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, and would highly recommend New Hope Manor.”

“I went to Dr. Shim for treatment for migraines. I have been plagued all my life without finding much help. He started me on intense treatment (three days a week) including acupuncture , acupressure, and cupping. I have not had a headache since that day. I am absolutely thrilled at the results. Being a "whole body" medical expert, he has also been treating me for other ailments. That would require a second visit with a traditional doctor.
