“Avalon is made up of incredible angels who have hidden wings. We brought our father here after a horrible experience elsewhere and we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at Avalon. They have not only connected with our dad, but most of them even know us (his family) by name! When we arrive to see our father, unless it’s very early or bedtime, they have already gotten him out of bed, showered, dressed and sitting in the TV area with a lot of other residents who are hanging out, watching TV or visiting. Also if you take a walk down the hallways where the rooms are you’ll find most rooms to be picked up, clean and beds made. Our father is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s so we know he’s not ‘there’ but the staff at Avalon still treat him like a respected individual who still matters. He may not know much of what’s going on but I can’t begin to tell you what it does to our hearts to see the unbelievable care the team at Avalon shows him and us. We consider ourselves beyond grateful to have found this amazing center with amazing staff.”

She took care of my older son first, and she was equally amazing with him. Then, when it was my baby's turn, he confidently walked up to her and sat by himself. Jessica talked him through the entire haircut, and it was truly an outstanding and heartwarming sight. I was in complete awe of her.
