“I cannot thank this practice enough for helping me get my dental health to a manageable condition. I have not been able to afford dental insurance or receive any type of dental care for 35 to 40 years and even found myself being a recluse because of my poor dentition and rather borderline depressive because I was ashamed to smile in public and would cry a lot. Dr. Walker and the staff were so kind and I was able to get an infected tooth taken care of and a set of partials with a payment that did not leave me homeless. They were kind respectful of my time. l do not have the words to express how grateful I am to this staff and this dentist. They were indeed an answer to a pray that I thought was hopeless.”

“Look no further for our Botox treatment!! I recently had Botox done by Jennifer and it was the best result I have ever had. She used half the amount I have had used in the past and I had the best results I have ever had. I am so impressed!!! I had a line that was becoming deep-set that I can barely see now after treatment. Can't recommend enough!”

“Ask for “The Usual” There’s no way words can convey the Colonial Barbers experience. It must be lived to be appreciated. Imagine Floyd’s of Mayberry mixed with Jerry Clower, Minnie Pearl, and a pinch of Will Rogers. Such unparalleled wisdom just doesn’t exist anywhere but within a genuine old-fashioned Small-Town Southern Barber Shop. The shop is as it always has been - littered with outdoor magazines and Western Horseman journals on the rack, fresh-cut hair on the floor, and good ol’ boys contributing to the friendly banter as they patiently wait their turn in the chair. Throughout the day, the conversation turns where it may - twisting and turning unpredictably as patrons of all ages and backgrounds with a full range of opinions and lifetimes of stories come and go. Topics range from weather and local hearsay to politics and religion - and are frequently peppered with yarns and harmless wisecracks. Remarks are genuine and to the point, but not rude. And please, no politically correct language, thank you. Everyone is welcome in the shop, no matter their perspectives; though the odds of changing 60+ year-old positions on politics, religion, or how to correct an unruly child are pretty slim. Speaking of children - mine have grown up going to the shop with dad and have always been rewarded for their good manners with a the sucker of their choice. Not once have they required a reprimand or even a corrective glance in their direction; as they were raised with the understanding that children are to behave, sit still, and “are better seen and not heard” while the grown-ups are talking. Cash has always been and will likely always be accepted. Tips are greatly appreciated. Credit card machines, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc, with their surcharges and restrictive covenants just don’t make sense here in the shop. And Government-Mandated FaceMasks are out of the question. If the phone rings, it will be politely answered by either Steve or Debbie. The phone always interrupts someone’s haircut, so the polite thing to do is to keep the conversation as short as possible so you can get back to business - the business of cutting hair. The haircut, just like the setting, is traditional. You need to let them how you like it the first time or two you’re in the chair, then say “just like last time.” Regular customers simply sit down without a word and get just what they’re looking for - a quality haircut and a slice of the time-honored philosophy of a small-town barber. The expertise in those hands only comes from dedication to the art as well as the practice of tens of thousands of haircuts over the past several decades. Steve and Debbie take their time and do a good job. It’s quite apparent from the smile on their lips, twinkle in their eyes, and always-just-right haircut that they really do enjoy their jobs. If The Good Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise, Steve and Debbie will be at their chairs Tuesday through Friday 9:00-5:30 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. Listen… please trust me, there is so much more I could say and explain, but this place really is great. It’s better than great. It’s a throwback to gentler, nobler times when we love dour neighbors rather than simply tolerating them. IF you’re a person (young or old) with the ability to sit, discuss, reflect and appreciate opinions that may not align with your own without melting or feeling sorry for yourself, you’ll be just fine. Trust me, there’s no better place to bring a well-behaved child, parent, or spouse than Colonial Barbers.”

“We are so grateful with doctor Chris for all that he has done for us! I found him while I was looking for someone to help me with my baby how seemed to have a tongue tie at the time. He listened and never dismiss my concerns, he was flexible and knowledgeable. He even helped us find a provider to get a diagnose and was a support through all the process. We felt happy to be in such a great hands, my baby LOVE him and we were so impressed with his work that my husband end up getting some sesiones for himself and confirmed how good we felt about him. We are hoping we can keep working with him cause we have seen so many improvements in both my baby and husband overall.”

“Highly recommend The Tumble Club for a child’s birthday party! We celebrated our daughter today and the staff were amazing! They are so attentive with the kids and with setup and clean up. They kept the kids entertained the entire time and helped with pizza, cake, and presents. I really appreciated not having to worry about running the show. They had it all taken care of from start to finish! They even gifted the birthday girl a Tumble Club tshirt.”

“Dr. Patel, the nurses, and the front office staff are all incredible! I have been looking for a pediatrician like Dr. Patel for years since my insurance changed and I could not be happier that I found this office. Making an appointment or asking a question over the phone is so easy. The staff is always genuinely polite and quick to answer questions. They call back when they say they will, which is a huge relief when you're dealing with a sick child. Dr. Patel is honest and upfront with an amazing bed side manner. She has a laid back personality with a great sense of humor. It didn't take long for her to build a good rapport with my kids who have totally different personalities. She always has a wonderful read on when my child wants to talk and when she's uncomfortable--Dr. Patel is very respectful of her feelings. I am so grateful for Dr. Patel and the nurses for making my kids feel safe to talk about anything and comfortable in uncomfortable situations. Besides the amazing bedside manner, I completely trust Dr. Patel's knowledge and medical experience. She pays close attention what we say, she takes her time discussing and asking questions, and she explains her diagnosis, treatment and plan thoroughly. Dr. Patel makes sure my kids know what is going on and they feel as comfortable as I do. I can't say enough good things about every person at Just for Kids Pediatrics!”
