“North Texas Chimney & Hearth came out an installed our new gas two sided fireplace. I can't tell you enough how impressed I was with the whole process. We went to their showroom and Kyle was knowledgeable and helpful picking out our new unit. First time install was scheduled framing wasn't done yet but they were able to reschedule us a week later. Had the gas unit in with piping up into the attic in about 3 1/2 hours. Stephen and Chris did install and were efficient, friendly, and cleaned up afterwards with all the attic instillation that fell. They are coming back for start up once our contractor is done with construction, but this homeowner would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade their fireplace! *****Update 6/22/21***** Kyle, Stephen, and Chris came out today for the start up. They were knowledgeable explaining everything to me and had everything lit up and burning in under 2 hours. I'm extremely pleased with final result and will definitely use NTX Chimney for my service and maintenance.”

They made the process very easy, from their staff that answered and scheduled the appointment (Cheryl) to the friendly, knowledgeable young man that came out to do the work. They even called to reschedule because of bad weather before I realized it was raining. The tech guy not only closed up all potential areas where the rats were getting in but also educated me on what to look for (mainly because I asked). He took his time answering all my questions, but worked efficiently to get the job done. He also came back several times to check the traps as that was the part I was most grossed out to do. I even got a follow up call after the little boogers were gone to make sure all was good with the service. The price was spot on after I had talked with others that spend way more than I did and did not get the removal service as part of the deal. YUCK! The owner, Mike came out and checked after the first round with the tech. Customer service was right on, service was fantastic and follow up was superb! If I can figure out how to post pictures of some of the work they did I will. I had a rodent problem before in another house and did the work myself, it took me hours and just as much money as calling them out. I would definitely use them again but I don't think I will ever have to in this house! It is completely sealed up! Thank you Critter Ridder for a job well done!”

“I needed a new look for the fireplace after a remodel of my living room and I chose FDG due to the range of available options for the fireplace doors. The process was simple and quick. I uploaded a picture of the fireplace with measurements and I had a quote within an hour. Two days later, a representative was out to take official measurements and then four weeks later, a quick 30 minute install and I have my beautiful new fireplace. One feature that I didn't realize I was getting was that the doors have panels that you can install in the summer so that cool air isn't escaping out of the fireplace. The panels are in place in the attached picture. Company representatives were all professional and the installer cleaned up after he was done. I highly recommend if you're looking to change your look up a bit.”
