“The closing went smoothly and on time. However, upon completion I was informed that I needed to make a wire transfer. I was not aware of this until that time. I was sent Instructions via email to take to my bank which I did the next morning. I was charged $30 for the transfer. I contacted my loan officer to let him know the transfer was made and to question why I was not told in advance, only to find out that a wire transfer was not required and the notary should have accepted my personal check.”
