“Not so quiet when the place is over 2/3 full but still able to get work done. The study rooms and computer lab allows for group projects to take place in peace. The writing lab is the best place to go get help on papers. ”

“I took my grandchildren there for many summers for the children's reading program. It's a great activity to do during summer break. Better yet, they learn how to use the library.”

“This library is available for anyone, not just students! Only students can check out a book though. Anyone can get something printed as well. It is 10¢ per black and white copy and 50¢ per color copy and the print machine has a USB hook up available. It is nice and quiet, very spacious with a second level. It's a very beautiful library and I love visiting to work on my novels. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!”

“Very very nice place to study. But i didn't give it five stars because it's extremely cold in there. During summer it's too much AC, during winter it feels like there is no heat at all. other than it's a beautiful place with extremely nice staff.”

“Awesome campus! As far as community colleges go, Lone Star always surpasses others. The facilities are very well taken care of, the library is not to big but they have a lot of resources. Like 3D printing, a drone, a GoPro, a studio for sound and video recording (you will need to have a class project to be able to check any of the precious items), librarians that help you with research, study rooms with big monitors, lots of computers for public use, 2 hour textbook checkout, etc... The learning center there is inside the library and they offer free tutoring for most subjects. I've heard people complain for the long wait and tutors they don't like, but if you tell a staff member your concerns or that you've been waiting a while they will help you out right away. As far as classes and staff goes, everyone is different so it would take forever to review them all. But overall I've always gotten pretty good service and good professors.”

“The book supply for this library is so plentiful!!! This library is so diverse, it has all of the genres for books. There even is a section for books written in another language! I have met up with a few of my friends in the meeting area. This library is absolutely the best I’ve ever went to in Pearland.”

“First of all, I love reading. Second of all this library supposedly opened early Monday’s at 9am. If it’s true then you definitely deserve a solid 5 starts in advance. I’m giving it a shot tomorrow for the first time and I’m sure I’ll be putting a 5 star rating so just to keep my expectations high. Lastly I’m giving it a solid 5 because the pictures show they have comfortable chairs to sit on. It obviously takes time to take those pictures. We shall see ????????”

“A very well run library, as they acknowledge the transition to digital consumption of media. Ebooks, audio books, and lots of interactive tools there in the building. They still have books of course if you enjoy that nostalgia, but for me, I prefer the digital offerings. The staff is also very helpful. They will help with any question you may have. You can also get a library card in about 5 minutes flat there. All reasons to pay them a visit if you haven't lately.”

“George Memorial Library sets the bar and trust me when I say it is high. I have been a patron of this library for over a decade. I truly believe it is an indispensable asset to our community. The employees who offer consistent and caring assistance make this my favorite library in the whole state of Texas! Furthermore, this library taught me to embrace the beauty and exploration of texts. Priceless & thank y'all.”
