A family member owns a similar store in another town and the requests to buy are non-stop....and folks always somehow think that grandma's things that they don't want should be worth more. “I absolutely love pizza. I was told recently by a New Yorker friend of mine that the "true test" of a pizza is to get a plain cheese - if you love it, you've found a real pizzeria thats worth exploring. I did this with Uzy's a few nights ago. Some friends and I rolled in unannounced and ordered a cheese pizza, and a meat lovers pizza - the two extremes. I must say that I was impressed with the cheese pizza. The combination of the cheese, the semi-sweet sauce, and the crust which was cooked to perfection made me a believer. The meat lovers was also incredible. All three of us agreed that these were fantastic pies. While we were waiting, I noticed that everyone was taking orders of spaghetti with them as well. This will be the next thing I try, since every regular customer seemed to love it. Uzy's is a treasure - I hope they have a long and successful stay in our area. I will definitely be going back for more.”
