The pool is cleaned daily and the residents are friendly but stay to themselves. It is perfect for seniors or families with children. It has a laundry room and asphalt streets. It is about 3 miles to Walmart and other necessities. One of the better parks we have visited. It is like having your piece of the country for a great price.”

“A group of us stayed at Canyon Lake Retreat. There were deer at this location every night! In the mornings it was very relaxing. We also made s'mores at night. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was fully stocked. The house also had extra bedding and pillows to make you more relaxed. There are a lot of activities to do in the area. Guadalupe State Park is great for camping, kayaking, hiking, and swimming. Overall, this is a great, quiet location to stay at while on vacation.”

“This place is awesome. Clean and very helpful. We didn't have a grill, but when I asked she bought one over. Mrs. Bonnie is a very sweet lady. The neighbors next to use were respectful of the peace and quiet and kept it like that. It was like at home. There is a bird feeder on the tree to watch them feed. Off to the left is a beautiful pond. Only one RV was here when we were here, the rest of the cabins were full.”

If you need anything fixed or worked on she made sure it was done. The property is looking better with the upkeeps and being renovated. My unit was great and quiet. I had no major issues. Small little things like common work orders was done in a timely manner. Shannon kept her word on that. The property is really nice. The manager is even better. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. FYI I only left because I got a new position out of state.”
