“My friend and I had lunch today at Bongo Beaux's. It was a decent meal. Located in downtown Celina. The restaurant has that swamp decor vibe going on. The chairs and tables are mismatched and in desperate need for an upgrade. The designer in me was itching to fix it all. The racoons playing cards is not something I have ever seen before. “Disregard the sauce in sauce in the photo. I did the brisket disrespect by getting it that close. The brisket was moist and pull apart tender. It held together just enough to make this sandwich delicious. The post oak used wasn’t overwhelming and was nicely seasoned. It was fatty, but not overly greasy. They used what seemed like a Hawaiian bun which was great. Their onions were pickled and added a nice touch to the brisket. Not pictured is the sausage I was given. The regular was great and the jalapeño & cheese was delicious. Had my friend not pick this quaint unassuming food truck I would’ve never had given this place a try. Good food, great story behind the restaurant and close proximity to COTA, I can’t ask for more.”

I purchased : (2) Loaded mashpotatoes, (1) sweet potato casserole, (1) Green bean casserole, & (2) Cornbread stuffing. As well as the Turkey Breast $ 31.00 and the Boneless Ham small for $41.00. I did not buy the frozen cake altho the Red Velvet cake for $22.00 looked super delicious 😍 and looked pretty big. The cheese cake was around $15.00 and was kind of small looking.”

Wingstop and its 11 flavors, great French fries, and serve yourself drink machine... it's certainly on-and-poppin. I found the Chicken Sandwich to be crispy, tender, and taste just like lemon pepper wings, without the bones or sticky-fingers. I highly recommend you give the Wingstop Chicken Sandwich a run for your money. Bet! The crew was polite, order was accurate, and the restaurant was clean.. I cannot wait to try another flavor.... “Our first time here and I’ll say it’s the closest thing to San Diego Mexican food that I’ve had in Texas! I grew up in SD eating at Lolita’s and all of the Roberto’s/Alberto’s/Filiberto’s and etc! I’d give them 5 stars if the meat wasn’t too overly cooked. I’ll come back and try it again and will hopefully get to update to 5 stars! The tortilla itself is really good! This is authentic Mexican from closer to San Diego/Tijuana side. San Diego burritos have no rice, beans, and etc in them…only meat, salsa and guacamole…just the way I like it! For all those saying this isn’t authentic? You do know how big Mexico is right? There are 32 states in Mexico. Mexico is huge! The cultural differences in these 32 states are huge! It’s hard running a business, people are hard to please. It’s disappointing to see people leave such terrible 1 star reviews. Must feel good to try and destroy people’s livelihoods!”

“We enjoyed an excellent meal. We were the only customers in the restaurant. One was just leaving as we arrived. It was about 4 PM, so we arrived before the dinner crowd. We were greeted immediately. We received chips and salsa right away. Our drinks came out quickly as did our salad. The food came out soon after and was hot and delicious. The server was very friendly and checked back just the right amount of times. There is a big screen TV in one wall and a smaller one across the room in the bar area. There is also a larger dining room in the back. We really enjoyed it and will be back.”

“This place is all right for pricing and for the amount of food that they serve in their portions. It is quick service so expect to be getting your food within 15 minutes of ordering it or less. Now that may sound a little long at some places but this isn't fast food and it's not quite a full kitchen either. However the food is usually make pretty well and I do enjoy it. I suggest their breakfast menu as it is healthy although they have healthy items along the rest of the menu as well.”

“WOW! What an incredible place. Their BBQ brisket is the best. The crust is simple and tasty. They cook the brisket for a long time and it is obvious by the perfectly rendered fat. It was the best brisket I had all day (and I had a lot from different places). I cannot speak to the sides, but the brisket is amazing. The hot room is huge. This place is such a throwback to traditional BBQ. I really like the history of the place. If you are in Austin, make the drive to Lockhart to Kreuz Market--you will be glad you did!”
