“I can definitely see the appeal to this place. Lots of beer options, all day happy hour on Thursday, shots on the menu for those inclined, and trivia. However, the food was hit or miss depending on what my friends and I ordered. Therefore I can't give it 5 stars. Staff was nice though. And the outdoor seating looked nice!”

“9/14/22: This was our first visit. Came for a couple of drinks. We sat at the bar and Melodee was bartending. We had a beer, a Blueberry lemonade and a jalapeño cheddar bratwurst. There were plenty of TV's throughout, and a large TV outside. There was a very large backyard area, with picnic tables and outdoor games. There was a very large liquor and wine selection available. Lots of high end bourbon and tequila. We met the manager, Tim, and we had a nice chat about his vision for the place. We would certainly return!”

“Came here around lunchtime with a coworker. We both ordered breakfast. Our server, Ana, was great. Very nice and helpful. She gave some recommendations on the menu for us, and did not disappoint. As you can see in the pics, the portions are generous. The food was prepared well and the wait was not long. Also, not pictured here is the glass of orange juice which was also quite generous compared to other places you may go to.”

“The service here was amazing! Definitely 10 out of 10. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo, a Cheeseburger, the Buffalo Cauliflower, the Chicken Tortilla Soup, and Chicken Parmesan. All very very good! It was my parents first time here and the manager came over to greet them and thank them for trying Lazy Dog. We loved that. We had an amazing experience overall and will definitely make this our go to spot for gatherings!”

“We’ve been coming here for years. The drive from Austin is totally worth it. I love it in summer, sitting in lawn chairs with a cooler full of drinks and snacks. I love it in winter, snuggled up in the car. Even when my kids were little we stayed for the full double feature. It’s easy to get tickets upon arrival even on the weekend.”

“Went here for a birthday and my first “high tea” experience. The table settings, decor, and environment is so dainty and pleasant! We had tea (lavender to be specific), if course, which I enjoyed. We also had scones, zucchini bread, pastries, cucumber sandwiches, and chicken salad sandwiches (all pictured below). I wasn’t crazy about the food, but I think some of it may just be acquired tastes and I’m not used to any of the dishes. It’s a great place for intimate gatherings with girlfriends, or any of the women in your life. I’m glad I went. It was a change from the typical Dallas restaurants and bars. It was 9 of us total and we each paid $30 even.”

“This place has been here for a long time and still they are consistent with great food. My friend painted the pictures on the walls way back when. Just visited here yesterday; got a large pizza with mushrooms and Canadian bacon; these people still make a great pizza. “I just stopped in to get a strawberry shortcake. This location is clean with really clean restrooms each time I have visited. There is a huge open concrete lot across the street that accommodates big rigs and trailer parking for the truck drivers. It's easy off and on access from 35N (NB side) but there is construction at this time but still an easy location to access.”

“I have been to lower Greenville many times, but this was my first time at Avenue Grill and Bar. The service was great, the bartenders were attentive, and had a good atmosphere. The drinks were pricey. If you want to see their live music it would be a good place to go, but there are other bars with better priced drinks in the area.”
