“Had no clue what this place was from the highway and was hoping for a novelty store when I stopped. However, pretty much just a BBQ joint. Which well, nothing wrong with that either. Pay by the pound concept and the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful as I was a virgin. They even offered me samples of their best sellers in the protein department! Actually, the customer service and atmosphere was better than the food. It was good, just not fantastic. The lean brisket was way too dry and the moist a bit fatty. Even though it did not look appetizing, the sausage was excellent. I would go back for the sausage but not the brisket. Kinda fun to eat right off wax paper and help yourself to their pickle and onion bar. Plenty of sauces to sample with as well. And the bread comes portioned out in bags! All in all, the price was excellent as well.”

All of the employees that I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The pizza was delicious. The salad was fresh with crispy, cold lettuce. The cinnamon sticks could have used a bit more cinnamon sugar, but that's my taste buds talking, not my waist line. 🤣 The downside is that there is only 1 stall in each restroom, so even though I only needed to wash my hands, I had to wait for someone to come out to be able to do so. Overall, a nice, comfortable place and I'd definitely go back next time we're out that way.”
