“Visited Royal Chicken in Duncanville last Sat. with my son. We ordered an 8 piece legs and thighs, 3pc fish fillets, and chicken salad. I also got the lemon tea. The owner personally came out and greeted and shook hands with all customers before leaving. The food was freshly cooked so there should be an expected wait time for new customers but just be patient and you’ll have hot food out the grease. The chicken was seasoned well and accompanied with fries pickles and peppers. My son loved the fish and and my chicken salad was fulfilling. Pros: Nice choices, good service, good food. Cons: Salad didn’t combine spinach or mixed greens (but still good). Location is not bad but could be difficult to find for people not aware of the location. Finally there may be a bit of sticker shock to some but I think the food is worth the price and valued well. Over all, please visit one of their two locations and support Black Owned Businesses. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Pretty Good Thai dining restaurant. After visiting once for dinner we thought of trying Lunch Special and we loved it. We ordered Pad Thai with egg drop soup ( soup of the day) along with Tofu fry. “I’m pretty sure if they have pizza in heaven that it would taste as amazing as theirs. This family owned business has been here since 2007! We ordered the calamari and it was perfectly crisp but what set this apart was that it is tossed in a garlic butter sauce! The kids and I were popping these back like they were popcorn! So good! I also ordered the Spinacci pizza which was loaded with spinach, artichokes, in a red sauce. The pizza was tasty and they made sure to load it up! My kids love an Alfredo pasta so I got them one to share. They enjoyed it. I stole a bite and loved the garlicky sauce I tasted! “We wandered around the lake and stumbled upon The Boathouse on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant was lively! A few tables for outdoor seating, and a handful indoors if you prefer to enjoy the AC. Our server, Megan, was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the cheeseburger (came with fries), and my fiancé ordered the patty melt. The cheeseburger was good. The meals were very generously sized. Lots of families enjoying their meals here after a long day out on the lake!”

“This placed was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long (all the way around to the door), but it moved along alright. The line was long the whole time we dined here. We had 2 orders of Boiled Crawfish w/ Potatoes, Corn and Sausage, Butterfly Shrimp, and Corn Dog. The Crawfish boil sides come with extra charge. The crawfish was good and spicy. My kids liked their shrimp and corn dog. They offer bags of New Orleans style chips and drinks in a fridge. It took a while for our food to come out, but it was understandable due to the long lines.”

“Mi Dia never disappoints. I always enjoy. every visit. Their appetizers are yummy, especially their l queso and guacamole, which is prepared table side. Their house salsas are really good - both green and red are served with chips as a compliment to your meal. We ordered a lot of beef dishes this visit and all dishes came out cooked perfectly! The meat was so tender and savory and paired well with their yummy bean soup and rice. If you are into mixology, they have awesome cocktails. The presentation of their drinks are great and even better taste great! Their staff is always attentive and really make an effort to make your experience great. They even pack your food for you too if you need to go bags and containers. Overall the ambiance is family friendly and they have several locations across the metroplex.”
