“Several weeks ago, Sauced Up moved from their food truck to a beautiful full-blown restaurant and bar. Both the eatery and separate bar are stunningly decorated. Our waiter, John, was fantastic. Then the food. I had a gluten-free pizza, my pick of sauce and toppings, that was perfect. We also had one of the menu pizzas that was crispy and delicious. It also has outdoor seating. “Great smoked meat! I love finding these little out of the way places! Turkey has great smoked flavor. I often encounter this meat too dry with only a hint of smoked flavor, but this is juicy and full of flavor! Sausage is delicious, and the brisket is wonderful without being too fatty. Normally I don’t like the sauce too sweet, but despite being on the sweeter side, it has a nice light tang with a little bite to even out the sweetness. Pinto beans were good, but could have used a hint of salt to taste. Toast could have used a touch of warm butter when served, but I also arrived at the end of the day. Service was polite and prompt. Overall excellent bbq. My biggest problem is fighting off a food coma getting back on the road.”

Well I love large cut fries that are fresh and this is the place for me. Let me talk about the burger for a minute. The patty is 6oz. The meat was cooked perfect and very tender. Two type of cheese and fresh avocado. Mustard, lettuce, pickle and tomatoes were all fresh. So YES, I would go back. Now let me tell you the negative. The place is almost a dump. Yeah, read the other reviews. Not very clean, dark atmosphere and well the people are not that friendly. They are by no means horrible or mean. The woman I spoke with was nice and knew exactly what I wanted and took care of me. Cleanliness is an issue. Just look at the soda machine. That thing has syrup everywhere. Get your order to go. Give it a try.”

“It’s been over a decade since I’ve had Mogio’s. My sister and I used to order their pizzas growing up in Richardson. She’s since grew up and moved to Seattle. Today, I popped in for lunch take out and their pizzas are still amazing to this day. Definitely a taste of nostalgia taking me back in my 20’s. “While staying in Canyon Lake area for the summer we wanted to try some good seafood. We love the Boiling Pot in Rockport and found this place just North of Hancock area of the lake. They've really spruced up the place since the last reviews 3 years ago. My husband and I got the Shrimp boil pot. We can eat and this filled us up! $22.95 for a pound of huge gulf shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn and sourdough bread. We should've ordered the medium spice, my husband likes spicy but I can't take the heat. The key lime and banana pies were also delicious!! The staff (all family of the owner) is super friendly. They are open from 5-9 and it's byob. We will be going back!!”

“One of the most interesting experiences I have had at Panda Express. The beginning service was a little slow but they were dealing with a difficult situation so I was fine waiting. What caught my eye, was the man in the back who was absolutely cheffing. When I say I have never seen such skill and art in cooking, I hope you understand I am not exaggerating. This man, I wanted to get his name but didn't, was single-handedly making all of the main dishes for the front line. Another lady was helping with the side dishes, but this master of the Wok was amazing. I watched him cook for probably 15 minutes before getting my food and eating. “This place was crazy good. A truly outstanding plate of food in a tiny town north of Fort Worth. More people should be road tripping to eat here. My son said it could be one of the best plates of food he's had in years. He has the honey butter chicken biscuit. I had biscuits and gravy and everything was homemade and fresh. “It takes about 10 mins but this place has been here for years and the food and customer base shows it's reason for being so busy. These people knew exactly what they were doing. Did it promptly portions were huge. I bought two plates it fed my buddy my husband and I then dinner that night between 3 adults again as well. I spent about 25 bucks but I also ordered 4 egg rolls that were super good too. They were friendly. They could tell I had never been and guided me to get comfortable. It was going to be about 10 mins. They make everything fresh and quick. We got 2 lol mein combination plates and 4 egg rolls.”
