“12/16 .. great little spot. my self an a few coworkers where stuck in traffic.. oh the bad highway 35.. an spotted a exit an just so happen they where right there off the highway next to Popeyes. We went ahead an gave it a shot. Friday night about 11pm.. little decent crowd. kinda dark inside and a few of the tv's where where on (sleep mode). But that was really the only bad part. Had 2 bartenders. and a manger, she was out greeting people. and making sure people where happy. she seen the TVs near us , wasn't not showing anything asked us if we wanted anything special on one. (felt important). seen they had 2 pool tables. (one kept jamming up) But they also had a DJ.. He played just about everything while we was there, Kept everyone happy i guess. I would of like less country but i understand. (oh he helped up get the pool table unjammed.) well we had a few drinks an food. i would say all together we had good experience an will be back here an there. Price for everything is kinda right where it needs to be. Not too High not too low.. My-self an the guys will come back”

“I absolutely love this location. I've been twice in the pass week already. The location is very clean and the staff was walking around testing the machines to make sure they were working. I met a young guy named myles and he was cleaning literally after each guest and had such a sweet personality. This is definitely my go to spot from here on out for the kids. I would say make sure someone is at the door if they want to be diligent about checking to make sure everyone leaves with the correct party. If you're going to have that into place. “Driven past this place many times on our way to Colorado/New Mexico, but have never stopped. On our recent drive back this holiday season, we were doing alright on gas and made the decision to stop in Post for lunch at Holly's. We didn't do the carhop service and went inside to order to use the restroom. The lady was nice behind the counter and took our cooked to order meal. We got cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, tater tots, and french fries. The burgers were reasonable prices (think In-n-Out and not Five Guys!) and were filling. I would highly recommend the onion rings with your meal, which there are plenty of options to choose from. This is our new stopping point to get something much better than the fast-food options in this desolate area of Texas.”

“Looked up places for crawfish and thus popped up. I will say they did not have any crawfish as "crawfish has become to expensive to get", which i totally get. I don't expect them to have any in the near future, but please don't overlook this place. The food was excellent, serve with impressive presentation and pretty good flavor. Spent the time with my sister, which she said she really enjoyed the place. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our drinks were filled. The place was very clean. It's definitely a place to bring the family and friends. Attached is the menu we were presented as well as what our food looked like when it got to the table. I was impressed with this little place and hope to see it get more attention.”

“Absolutely fantastic smoothies! We just dropped in to grab a smoothie for our road trip back to Dallas and so happy we did. It’s the cutest local spot with grab and go food and snacks and of course juices and smoothies. The lady working immediately told us everything is organic and natural, no powders used. I ordered the caffeinated monkey - Banana, Peanut Butter, Cacao, Honey, coffee beans, Almond Milk and I added berries. This was from an extended list of smoothies they have on a paper on the counter top. Highly recommend if you’re a peanut butter fan. My husband ordered the Island Impact - Pineapple, Mango, Banana, Coconut Water*. Ultra refreshing!”

“Went here on a Saturday night and it had a decent amount of people but not a lot. First time getting an appetizer, stuffed mushrooms. It was good, very cheesy. Bread was of course amazing, fresh and easily torn, fluffy, everything you want in bread. I had a fettuccine alfredo with mushrooms and it was great and tasted fresh 8/10. My brother got a "Edgar Special" calzone and he swears by it 8/10. Other brother got the Salmon Piccata and he rated it 8/10”

“The service is great and food even better! Chips are like Totopos in Mexico! My favorite! And Yes, carne asada tacos were really good!! I snapped a photo right after I ate a couple mini-tacos and still so much to go. Husband got the Mexican plate!! Enchiladas made with American cheese which is so hard to find. Prices decent and super clean restaurant. The furniture is heavy and custom made for the restaurant. I highly recommend trying it out!”

“Moved to Galveston the first of the year, and I have lamented the lack of edible Chinese food on the island. We ventured to Texas City today and before we left, I used Google Maps to find all the Chinese restaurants in the area. Found and chose this one based on the recent reviews. They did not steer us wrong on this! First, it is in a non-de script shopping center that doesn't look too inviting. Nevertheless, we entered and due to the time of day, all of the help were eating lunch, so I felt a little guilty interrupting. They invited us in and made us feel welcome. It's a fairly small dining room with probably around a dozen tables. They also appear to do a pretty good takeout business as well. Anyway, after being seated, our waiter was a boy (son of owner) about 10-11 years old. He was masked, polite, and professional. He knew all about the food as well, with good descriptions as well! Since it was a little before 3pm they were still running off the lunch menu, even on a Saturday! I ordered General Tso chicken with WonTon soup, and my wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp and Spring Roll. The food came out in less than 10 minutes both Hot and FRESH! Everything was perfect with no complaints on anything. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed, including refills. VERY impressed with his maturity and professionalism! When I paid, I was assured that he kept all of the tip. Got extra from us...and we will return. I took a photo of my plate as an after thought, and still had it on macro, so the quality is lacking. But, as you can see, for a combo lunch...there is a LOT of food!”

Domino’s, Papa John’s stopped ordering from them a long time ago because they are careless. But Mr. Jim’s will always have my service for their consistency. “Understand they don't serve alcohol, but with this pub food, a beer would wash it down better. The fat heifer was exactly that and patties were cooked perfect, lacked a little flavor. I prefer dill over sweet pickles on my burger and too much mustard. Fries were so crispy they were dried out on the inside with potato dust. Fried mushrooms were good, dipping sauce was okay. Service was great, but we did ask for honey mustard and she was going to whip some up but as soon as a 10 top was seated it never arrived.”

Started with waiting at the bar for our table... had 2 drinks there, both my husband's and mine were really good. Then got seated in a fairly timely manner. Food was really good but the lobster tails we think were just a tad overcooked because they were a little chewy, had to cut with a knife, but the TASTE WAS GREAT! “Such amazing tacos! I got an al pastor and a carne asada, and my friend got two carne asadas. The food was amazing and they gave us cilantro and onions in a bag to put on! I'm very picky about my onions so it was nice to be able to choose how much was on there! The salsa was so amazing! Overall I loved it and am looking forward to going back!”
