“Wanna talk about some fresh handmade food..... Well here it is. Go dine in and talk with Cindy. An amazing lady and her husband James own it. Can not go wrong with anything on the menu. You will not be disappointed. And what ever you do, do NOT leave with out the cobbler and banana pudding. And please support a local family and not a corporation!!”

“I went there for the Chicken Tortilla soup and left with soup and beef tacos. Both were exceptional. I used to always make my own Chicken Tortilla soup, but never again. I will only get it from Spicy Bite! I'm serious, it was that Good!”

“This place is a small little gem in 3rd Ward Texas. We went for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. If you do not have a reserved section come early. The seating is limited and there is nowhere to wait inside. The food was delicious and a nice serving size for the price. An 18% gratuity is added to the check. Our waitress was good but stretched thin so our service was a little slow. She definitely checked on us when she could and she had a great attitude. The DJ kept the crowd dancing and singing and the whole place was a vibe. The restroom is a single-stall and fairly clean. Try the loaded Mimosa. You won't be disappointed. Although this place wouldn't be my first choice for brunch I would go back if invited.”

This is the place to go... so good and so filling... the owner is super sweet and charismatic.... the owner pretty much runs the show, he is the cook and your waiter... So please be considerate and patient... food is worth the wait if you want authentic food. And I loved that they have asian products for you to purchase.... definetly a must try and go with an open mind to try different food than your regular Chinese restaurant.”

“Loved everything about our visit while we were in town! I especially loved that they have a playground next to it, though it is a city playground and isn't affiliated with the restaurant. They have easy access to it and my older kiddos (ages 8+ is good) liked it. A little too high for my 5 yo but it was great still. The food here was EXCELLENT, and the prices were super great. We had some appetizers, like the egg rolls and the beer bread. So so good. Had some drinks and we ordered the shepherds pie and the soup which were delicious. Also ordered some burgers, pasta, and Mac n cheese and everything was so tasty! I would come here again and again if we lived in the area. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was lovely!”

“We always enjoy coming here! The owner, Charlie, is super nice and makes sure you get taken care of. The chefs always put on a solid show, and the food comes out great every time. Their fried rice really might be the best! We usually come during lunch as it is less busy and the lunch menu is a little cheaper, but still a lot of food. This is one of the best Hibachi places in the area.”

“We had a fantastic experience with our purchase of a Big Joe III at the Allen location of BBQ Galore. The storeroom was well stocked, the staff was super helpful, and we got a killer deal on our grill (saved $800 compared to other stores and online). Josh went above and beyond to help educate us and get us an incredible grill at an amazing price. I’d called other stores, but ended up buying the grill unseen over the phone based on Josh’s reviews. My experience was as wonderful as everyone else’s. Josh and BBQ Galore are now our go-to bbq store!”

“Burgers are delicious! Must try the southwest egg rolls. The meatloaf was sub par, but everything else was very good! $70 for two of us to eat.”

“It was a nice place, you can tell they put in a lot of effort to really fix the place up from what it used to be so many years ago. The food was okay, there wasn't anything that really stood out to me to make me go back. The chips are good, the mushroom gravy was flavorful. The greenbeans with garlic butter were nice. The menu itself is pretty classic southern/American/Mexican. It was a hot afternoon, but they have plenty of misters outside to keep you cool. Overall, really good. Kind of pricey though.”

“This is my first time here and I order egg bacon, chorizo and egg, Pappas and chorizo added beans and cheese on them. And they were all good. The eggs taste real. The green sauce was good and so was the habanero one was spicy. I also order a beef and chicken fajita tacos they were also good. Also there is no menu on line do I attched a picture of it.”

“All I can say is you definitely need to try it! Soo good! I got the grilled chicken club and onion rings 😋 and my husband had the double cheese burger (which ended up being wayy to much) with curly fries! And the staff is so friendly you feel like you're at your own Nanny's kitchen!”

“First time went well. Good food and good drinks. We sat on the patio, which was very nice. I ordered their old fashioned, the crab roll and the wedge salad. All were excellent. My only concern is the pricing. We ordered four drinks, two lost cost meals and shared a salad. Dinner was $165 after t&t. Tough to go there too often at that price point.”

“The gyoza’s were ok, wish they had something more than soy sauce for dipping sauce. Ordered the Spicy Korean Beef Roman, it was spicy but the flavoring and taste was off. Didn’t have the traditional ramen taste/flavor for that was disappointed. The staff was friendly. Food came out fast enough. I can’t say I would go back but can say I’ve been.”

“Went here recently and had the place almost to ourselves. Even though it was around closing time the staff was so polite and welcomed us. The food we ordered was great. Our server was Demmy and she was so much fun and helpful. Helped us order interesting items and had a lovely conversation. Would definitely come back for the food and to see her!! The Thai tea here was one of the best I’ve had so far.”

“A very quaint breakfast/lunch spot in old town Aledo. The menu has all of the staples and the portions are just the right size. The restaurant is small so you may have to wait a few minutes, especially on the weekend. The servers do a great job even when it's crowded.”

The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were strong and good. The owners and staff were definitely top tier and it felt very welcoming In the establishment. We will definitely be making several more trips to Mimi’s in the near future!!!”

“My daughter’s birthday cake came out so beautiful, even better than I’d hoped! I found the little decorations online and they did the most beautiful job decorating the rest! Whichever of the staff did the work clearly put a lot of love into their work. Couldn’t be happier, and Ellie was just thrilled!! Thank you!!”

“Tried Bacon's for the first time. Right in the door, I was pleased. The hostess was extremely welcoming, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress came by within a minute, introduced herself, and took drink orders. The food was served quickly, and it was hot and tasty. I gave it a 4 for food only because the grits weren't cooked with salt. The options are great. They serve mimosas, which are good, and other alcoholic beverages. Turkey sausage and bacon are also meat options. There are a lot of regulars here which says a lot about the staff and the food. Definitely going again.”

“Very nice and friendly service. I love the fact that I was able to get donuts here in the late afternoon because most places are closed. Donut display looks creative and delicious. I had a tasty Raspberry filled Donut but it didn't have enough filling for me but the Donut was still good. My daughter enjoyed her rainbow sprinkles Donut. I would come back”

“Went here for French fries but they also have wings. The fries were good they look like the kind that are fresh cut daily. They had plenty of seating if you want to eat the food right there and the tables were all cleaned off nicely so you can tell the employees actually cared. The front counter was clean as well, the worker was actually wiping it and straightening it out when I walked up to it. The guy who took my order was extremely friendly. Will definitely return and try more of the menu.”
