They came out quick and recaulked the area for free but inspected it and saw that the wood around the chimney was rotting away, which was new. We arranged for them to fix it, which they did right away, and they have kept in touch with me to make sure everything is looking good! I appreciate the customer service and care they provided and upkeep of their warranty of work. “We were one of the many who were unfortunately affected by the freeze and storm Texas experienced in February. The damage to our roof appeared to come from the hail that hit it. We called CM Roofing Pros and they promptly came with a good-sized work crew. They estimated it would take two days, and even though we had even more rain during those days, they were still able to finish the job on time. Their experience and knowledge showed, and they resolved any concerns I may have had. The completed work was of a high standard, as well as done for a great price. One of the workers also took the time to explain how to make a claim with my insurance company which was very helpful. “I contacted Good News Roofing at the recommendation of a neighbor who had their roof replaced by them. After putting in a request for a roof inspection, I was promptly contacted by Scott who scheduled a home visit for a free inspection. When Scott arrived, he was very professional in introducing himself and made it easy to understand the purpose of his initial visit. After assessing our roof, we were promptly sent a quote explaining everything that would be done and also informing us that no payment was due until after service was complete! We eventually accepted the contract and waited for work to begin. During this time, Scott kept us updated on the status of the shingles and when our color was ready and in stock, we were scheduled for the roof replacement. The crew who showed up were very polite and professional. They arrived early and began working right away and made sure that I knew where debris would be so that my family could be safe entering and leaving the house. A short while later, we were told that there were significantly more problems with the roof than initially anticipated. Unfortunately, during the inspection, it’s hard to see what problems will be under the shingles, and as it turns out, previous homeowners had covered up an improper flashing job around our chimney, leading to significant wood rot. Scott reassured me that we would only have to pay for additional materials and labor to get the job done right and worked to keep the price increase as low as possible. The crew foreman did an incredible job of explaining what he had to do to make it right, and also explained that it could’ve easily been covered up in the name of making a profit, but would’ve left us with problems down the road and neither his crew nor Good News Roofing operate like that. What was initially supposed to be a relatively simple roof job turned into a long day of work and they had to make many trips for extra supplies to get it done right. I never once heard anyone complaining, in fact, they were apologetic to us for the job taking longer than anticipated. In the end, we were left with a beautiful roof which has been properly repaired and I can sleep easy at night knowing the roof over my family’s head is secure. I cannot say enough great things about this company or the crew that was out, and if you ever need a quote or roof work, highly recommend you give Scott at Good News Roofing a call!”

“I live in Garland, TX and suffered the wrath of the Christmas storms. Luckily the tornado missed us, but we got hit hard with hail and wind. After dealing with what seemed like endless lines of storm chasers that all wanted my money up front, I finally met Kyle with Excaliber Roofing and was sharing my experience with him while waiting for my brakes to be replaced on my truck. And not even knowing he was a roofer. Turns out he was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. I emailed him my insurance damage estimate right there at the mechanic shop and he had a quote within a few minutes. No money up front. They handled all the sub contractors, gutter, painter, fence, etc. Everything was done on his promised schedule and my yard was left as clean as before the work started, which happened to be spotless. I started walking home and decided to get price quotes from locksmiths just in case. Intellikey was the second one i tried. When I did he told me he was very close to my bike and could come look at it free of charge. He was able to pick the lock and waited for me to walk back to the store. He did all of this free of charge. I am still shocked by how this worked out.”
