“I Love This School. Having a spouse that's military you move around from place to place. I've seen what some schools call educating our kids. This is One Of the schools that I would recommend to anyone I know or care about. They care about their students here and teach the kids to aspire to be great. My child barely spoke a word before he got into Benito's SPED program. He speaks more now does all homework on his own because he's a big boy and as a father of an autistic child it blows my mind how far he's come with their help. My daughter is always coming home "Teaching Me" all she's learned at school. I Love doing homework with them even though at times it seems to much for such minds but its awesome seeing them accomplish something that at their age I would have never got! This is one of the first schools that I've seen that proudly displays all the military flags as well as The Medal Of Honor that was given to them by the family of the schools name sake. I volunteer when I can and I see how hard the staff and students work to fulfill their motto Patriot Pride. I fully recommend this school to everybody looking for a safe caring learning environment for your children.”

They explain everything so clearly and have really worked me through the workouts step by step. Love the atmosphere. Very clean and organized. Allison is an awesome, patient instructor. “Our daughter is halfway through her second year at this school and her knowledge of the French language is very impressive. She loves going to school here and hates it when she is absent. We did not have any prior knowledge of the French language, but now she can hold a conversation in French and sometimes we hear her playing with her dolls using French. She also likes to watch Disney movies in French. Additionally, Spanish is offered at the school as a third language. You could also opt for Arabic or Mandarin as the third language. We didn't pick this school because it was primarily a French school. We picked this school because foreign languages are important to us and we felt very comfortable with the learning environment at this school. (The students routinely win national awards in Math and French) It is easy to see that this is a labor of love for the people who work here. I love that the English teacher has an undergraduate degree in English and a Master degree in rhetoric and writing instead of the typical early education degree. I love that the cello teacher has a PhD and has played in a symphony. I could go on and on with all the good things about this school. I cannot think of anything bad to say. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this school and the people that run it. I work for the State of Texas and I wouldn't allow my child to go to this school if anything was amiss. So again, great school and staff.”

“My husband and I spent four months touring daycare facilities (10 total sites toured between S. Arlington and Mansfield). We also reviewed the State of Texas inspection records and this daycare was one of the only facility in the area that had zero discrepancies in the last 3 years. We were having the hardest time deciding on a daycare because so many had strengths, but every one also has things we didn’t like or would like to change. The Children’s Spot was the very last facility we toured and we knew it was “home” for our child immediately. When my son met the teachers, he lit up. They made eye contact with him and spoke to him directly. We had toured other facilities that didn’t even take the time to look directly at our baby (which I thought was strange!) They keep the ratio for every class strictly 1 to 4 and they separate the children into 6 month age spans until the age of 2 to keep students closer together in developmental advancements (0-6 months / 6-12 months / 12-18 months 18-24 months). They also start curriculum immediately and tailor programs to fit the needs of individual students. Each age block (infants / toddlers) has their own team lead teacher and floating teachers. The teachers communicate to the parents both in person and through an app. We get updates throughout the day with adorable photos of our baby playing, but also notifications when he’s been fed, changed and napping. Our son has only been attending for one month, but consistently, every day when I drop him, off he lunges toward his teachers and grins from ear to ear when they take him from me. It makes it so much easier to leave him for the day when I see how excited he is to see his teachers. Initially, I thought this daycare was a bit pricey, but knowing that food and formula are provided throughout the day offsets the cost and reduces the amount of time it takes to get our family ready and our the door in the mornings as well.”

If you look at the TEA website and compare results you will find this Title I school is one of the best, even compared to a non-Title I campus. Parent involvement could be better and staff could be more friendly (very few who are). Over all my children are very knowledgeable in all areas and I feel confident that they will be prepared for middle school.”
