“Truly a special and exceptional school! Starting with the basics: my child is safe, known, and well cared for. The school is clean, tidy, and centered on children's education. Time is protected, and children are respected. Every staff member knows my child's name. When I was vetting educational options in the area, I toured several well-regarded early education schools/centers, and what stood out to me about HMA was how the children behaved when an adult was not actively directing them. A group of 8 toddlers were calm, focused on their independent tasks at hand, and knew what was expected of them. Also important, they were demonstrating advanced skills within their zones of proximal development. The other schools weren't even close. HMA adheres tightly to Montessori principles, attracts experienced Montessori educators from varied backgrounds, and the school is accredited within the top 5% of Montessori centers in the nation. They hold high expectations for children and allow them to shine. I'm blown away at the things my child knows and can do, along with the detailed reporting on his skill development during parent-teacher conferences. Leaders and staff go above and beyond to give students a rich experience that includes fall and winter recitals, fun family activities, extended day programming, and extracurriculars from trusted vendors each day. If ever an issue arises, staff are prompt, thoughtful, and thorough. They have become even more proactive in giving parents ample notice to engage and participate in their child's schooling experience. “We have been attending this child care facility on and off for eleven years and I have to say Mrs. Debra is the reason that we keep coming back to The Childrens Courtyard! I love the clean facility with a variety of toys and activities as well as the cameras so I can watch my son throughout the day! But above all that is the LOVE that Mrs. Debra has for my kids that I value the most.. My oldest is now eleven and she always treated him as if he was a part of her family and now we bring my youngest to this facility also because we know he is in good hands with The Children's Courtyard. “Great administrator and wonderful caring teachers! They get to know your kids and really communicate with families. I get pictures/videos multiple times a week of my child’s participation. Ms. Fulton and Ms.Ruby in Pre-K1 are always showing the children that learning is exciting and is sooo positive with the children. Ms.Ruby also teaches the Spanish extracurricular class. They really get the kids transitioned to social behavior and good manners! I will definitely miss them when we move out of the area this fall!!!”

“My infant attends this daycare and they have been amazing. I was worried about sending her to daycare because she was born premature. They work with my infant teaching her letters and her name and she is learning things I had no idea an infant could be learning at just 8 months. They are considerate and the whole atmosphere is family oriented. I am never comfortable leaving my child with anyone but when she is at Blessing Academy I have no worries!”
