“Cryar intermediate is great, the school building is huge, but once you get used to it, it's quite small and easy to walk around in. The teachers are kind and put hard work in what they do, believe it or not. Many of the teachers give little to no homework, and pay attention to the children's well being. Many of the children love going to this school, me being one of them. The fine arts programs are a nice addition, and all of the faculty get along. The only downside is the food, [don't eat the hot dogs!!] But overall I love this school and it makes me sad to leave.”

“this school has some great staff. yet there are some not so great ones. there are some that shouldn’t even be representing forestwood. for example, one talks about their religious beliefs and advertises for their church. this is a public middle school. that isn’t appropriate. another example, a few teachers call on the kids without their hands being raised or without them even wanting to be called. once one of my family memebers, (a girl with severe anxiety) got called on and started crying in that class. this school is fit for some students, others, not so much.”

“I always enjoy my time with Britt. He's a good player in his on right which I always look for in a teacher/coach. His lessons are very well-structured while using Trackman and he adapts quickly to any style of swing (or a head case like myself). Britt teaches the full swing and the short game extremely well and I've seen immediate change in my performance. He also works very well with junior golfers and gets great results. Highly recommended!”

“Robert not only is a great person and coach, he also knows how to instill confidence in those he teaches. My older son has been taking lessons from Robert for about 2 years and has had great success in working towards his goal of playing in college. My youngest son just started with him and cannot wait for his lessons. His growth in just a few lessons has been great! With golf being such a "mental" game, a coach needs to know how to work with all levels of students and how to manage different personalities as well. Robert does it all with ease and a smile on his face. We would not send our boys to learn from anyone else!”

“Great experience with a wonderful master suite. Spacious, decent price, great area! Our room was clean, and there was cleaning items close by as well. You could tell the sheets had been changed and everything overall was great. There were not enough towels for everyone in my party, but we managed. Our tub and sink were peeling, but it didn’t deter from bathing or using the sink at all. Not luxurious, but not roach infested either! Will be back on my next trip to Austell!”

“I went to this school my whole life up until I had to go to another school in 5th. Its a really nice school, one of the greatest schools in my opinion. Its not ghetto, kids and teachers are friendly. Principal is so nice. Mr. Hernandez is one of my favorite teachers. Well maintained in the inside, if you're going here be happy and look forward to it. Im now entering 6th grade and would love to come back.”

“The teachers in general were just teaching us not handling problems. It was usually the students I didn't like, there are actually a few of them. My friends and I would get harassed weekly and I was once even assaulted. I reported it to my teacher, but they did nothing. The students would often talk behind other students' and teachers' backs without their knowledge. They would also speak profanities, and sometimes even racial slurs would be thrown around as well. It would annoy me every time they utter these words to try and fit in or act “cool”. I would sometimes watch fights, terrified of what would happen if that were me. I’d also fear the thought of waking up every morning having to go to a school of jerks and gossipers, which I will have to admit, is something I’ve experienced. Even so, it’s not what school is supposed to be and should not be tolerated by anyone. The education was astounding, like I said before, the teachers were just teaching us, nothing more, nothing else. I did score high many times on tests and assessments and it was thanks to the education and teachers. The school was a great place for education, but not for socialization seeing that I spent 5 years of my life there, it has caused me to become quite an introvert. In conclusion, I do certainly recommend this school, but to a certain extent.”
