“This school is great !!!! I mean the food isn’t like gourmet or anything but it’s not so terrible that you can’t stand to eat it. I personally can tell that the teachers try very hard to make their students have success in the classroom. It does get challenging and I don’t like all the science projects but I do learn a lot. I don’t like the strict dress code but it’s not as terrible as everyone saying. I do wish we had free dress though. Most of the kids that are saying all these bad things about school usually have had some involvement in their bad experiences in the classroom. Like they don’t have respect for teachers. Which causes them to get in trouble more and have these opinions about the school. I personally really enjoy going to school here. They have ice cream and they have a really cool athletics program and some pretty fun activities. Some activities are not fun and boring but you could tell that the teachers were trying. Overall I think who ever gets to go to the school is very privileged and lucky to have such great teachers,athletic programs, elective programs, and the educational programs to help all types of children.”

Their teachers led them in cheers which had the entire student body pumped. I really enjoyed the nearby high schools band which also performed at their assemble. “Overall my husband and I were very happy with our stay. Our unit was next to the express way but it wasn’t noisy at all once the windows are shut. The interior was newly renovated and spacious. The property is dog-friendly with a small fenced dog area. There’s a basketball court and a swimming pool. I could see the property is perfect for families who wish to stay together in the same unit but need enough space for each person. Cleaning could be improved- upon arrival, I noticed there’s a visible brown spot on the toilet lid (I am not going to assume what it might be but it’s pretty obvious...) Staff were friendly. I especially want to express our gratitude to the hotel manager Antonio who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs!”

“I worked here for the 2018 Joint Primary Election on March 6. The Principal was very accommodating with our needs, and coordinated with us several days before the actual election. The custodial staff went above and beyond by helping move around large tables and chairs for our setup. Once polls were open, the teachers even took advantage of the opportunity throughout the day to teach their kids about our election process. I was more than happy to answer the young students' questions, and teach them the importance of participating in our democracy. I'd also like to thank the school librarian for allowing us to use the library space for voting. Unfortunately we had to close it down for the whole day, so we thank you for that sacrifice. While my election duties normally take me to Langley Elem. down the street, I look forward to it should my services ever be needed at Lieck Elem. again!
