“Pros: Great Teachers, Amazing Curriculum, Online format does not take away from the ability of students to socialize with each other, No bullying, Students and teachers are respectful of each other. Due dates for assignments are very flexible. Cons: Work Load is almost unbearable. There are at least 1 if not more homework for each class every single day. Some of the teachers just can't teach, and it's hard to get a hold of teachers fast.”

“We've been part of a K12 academy in 4 different states for the last 10 years. I have a senior at Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville (TVAH). I absolutely love the virtual academies. This option for education worked so well for us as an active duty military family. The curriculum was seamless and cohesive when the rest of our life was up in the air. Instead of moving from school to school and never know if my kids were going to be ahead or behind, we just transferred to the next K12 school and started the next school year/subject. TVAH is a great option for schooling at home, however the parent must be organized and present (you wouldn't want your child's teacher to leave the classroom in the middle of the day). If you aren't, this may not work out so great for you.”

“We have been here since my son was 3.5 months old. He is now 5. I tried another child care center first for two days before finding Parker Chase. I'm so glad I did. They have become our family. The teachers are warm and caring. Most have been there for many, many years, including the amazing director, Julie. Most child care centers are a revolving door of teachers, but it says something about PC when these teachers stay for years on end. It's NAEYC-accredited, which means most teachers there are required to already have or be pursuing a degree in early childhood education. They also invest heavily in professional development for the teachers, even traveling to conferences where they gain knowledge of innovative early childhood techniques and programs that they come back and implement. Other things I absolutely love: the community garden the kids maintain; the annual Thanksgiving feast where the kids actually all prepare the meal; the Week of the Young Child celebration where the teachers stay over the weekend to transform the school's kiva and surprise the kids with some creative, interactive display that they hand-build; Mr. Don, the school's chef who has been there for a couple of decades, a military vet who is the lovable grandpa of the school; the wonderful teachers who have helped raise my children and love them as their own; and all the other traditions that I'm going to be so sad to miss when my son starts kindergarten next year. Don't walk- RUN to Parker Chase Carrollton. There is absolutely no place like it.”

“Unfortunately I couldn’t put my kids here because I get off work at 6 and work an hour away so I wouldn’t have been able to get them on time.when I did the tour I was so happy how the informed me of the day care. The kitchen is super clean, which you want it to be since that’s were they will be prepping meals. They have cameras. I left feeling completely comfortable and happy. You lady’s are doing a GREAT job.”

The class was a delight to teach because they were interested in learning and were well prepared by Elisa Burke their teacher. The other teachers I met were helpful and showed genuine concern for all the students they teach. I look forward to teaching at Pirrung Elementary School again. ”

“Impressive facility in a nice building. Just had our first consultation and 1 practice exam for our daughter. Director sat down with us to go over results and we are very excited to get started with them. He was able to quickly figure out that she has pacing issues and needs lots of help with Math geometry. This is something we already knew but good to know that they care about students. Were referred by my friend and excited for him to set us up with a great tutor. Will be reviewing again after a few sessions.”
