Teachers offer an education that is academically rigorous, yet they are willing to make appropriate accommodations for students with learning challenges. “Ms. Hernandez is wonderful with a big heart for early childhood education. We have been here since they first opened and have loved watching our daughter really open up and learning both Spanish and English. Ms. Diaz is one of our favorite teachers and both our girls love the school here. They have lots of learning centers including music and art. I always enjoy getting to see what new creations they bring home. The gated entrance is nice because the surrounding neighborhood is still mostly commercial buildings. But if you live in or around Oak Cliff this location is super convenient. I highly recommend Yorktown.”

The facilities are nicely kept and there’s a fun place to sit to watch the lessons. “LOVE THIS SCHOOL. Mrs Presley is an AMAZING teacher, she really cares and she invests in her kids and keeps the parents well informed. Ms. Amanda in an excellent director and you can tell how her heart really goes into it and she’s so lovely and friendly. They have special classes 3 days a week for Bible, Spanish, and Science. Awesome playground, wonderful wholesome staff, excellent facilities... I can’t say enough!! They have Pre-K and may start doing Kinder! My son LOVES it here, he’s blossomed and learns so much on a regular basis.”

“One of the best studios in DFW for small to medium group classes and especially private lessons. Therapeutic and individualized practice is emphasized here. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and compassionate. Classes are held without loud music or gimmicks of any sort. This is a place to study yoga and personal transformation rather than simply go through the motions and get sweaty. Highly recommended!”
