“Edit/update (listed below this first review from 4 months ago). - Had a break in my necklace and afraid to lose my cross, so I called up the store, spoke to a wonderful lady named Karen and went in a few hours later to get my broken necklace replaced. The store is SO welcoming, beautiful with so much natural light. I got to meet Karen and another lady (sorry, dont remember her name but also VERY nice) helped me. Just overall, a wonderful experience and feeling so relieved that my necklace can be replaced so quickly at such an affordable price! So happy, this store opened up in our "backyard". EDIT / update: New Necklace that I swapped out with old one (that broke 4 months ago), ALSO broke LAST MONTH (link in the middle of the chain snapped). I wear it daily (never take it off, am not "rough" with it either). Last (original) necklace was worn daily for 20 years and finally broke in 1 spot 4 months ago). Now, the "new" replacement necklace from 4 months ago breaks (and also has 3-4 links that are worn down and "about to break" (lady at store told me). I was SHOCKED and had to upgrade to a tough/thicker chain so it (hopefully) doesnt break like the last one! I am wondering if the quality on the chains have gone down or perhaps Jesus was protecting me and I was meant to have my chain break several times over the last 4 months? I guess God works in mysterious ways I suppose. Either way, all of you should get your James Avery necklaces checked out by the ladies at the store to see if your have worn areas and/or parts of your chain that are about to "break" (like mine). You can swap out your existing chains to replace the same style/size for half the price (its a pretty good deal). The ladies at the store are VERY nice, polite and attentive to detail.”

“Love the librarian on duty and how she is absolutely sweet. Small and quaint like a small town library should be. Amazingly big shelves of books that range from learning to read to edgar allen poe. Organization is great wouldn't change it. Cleanliness amazing. Book keep room where a lot of donations go is full and all you have to do is donate what you believe the books you want are worth to keep them.”

“I don't know if i'm "the only one" but I'm a BOOMER - which means my Parents physical needs have changed as they have aged and they are living on a "fixed" income. When my Dad was hospitalized I realized that a bathroom (handicap) rennovation was inevitable. I hired a contractor to do most of the cosmetic work, but when it came to changing the existing "bathtub drain" to accommodate the installation of a "walk-in" shower drain (who knew they were going to be different??), I called Buddy's Plumbing. The challenge of changing out the existing plumbing was more difficult due to a "re-leveling" of that corner of the home that had been done 3 years prior, and concrete surrounded the plumbing making it extremely difficult to make the pipe size change. These guys came in, jack-hammers and all...and within 4 hours had the work done, the debris cleaned up and were out of there! Pricing was in line with the job and they were highly responsive when I called a few weeks later to ask about drainage/flow/exit. They suggested that we call the City (which we did) and saved us quite a bit of money as the issue was on the city side, not on my parents property. I'm sure they tell everyone to do this as it seemed like a normal conversation. Turned out they were right! Honest, reliable, and fair. Will most definitely use them again in the future.”

“This is one of the best Shell stations in Texas in my opinion ! It literally has just about everything! I couldn’t believe it! Everything I wanted I found and then some! Place was very clean with clean bathrooms available. Look at the pictures. It was very well stocked! And there’s a big chicken outside in the yard that will keep you there another 5-10 minutes!😂 Would have liked some hot food and the gas was a little bit expensive bu not too much. It didn’t take away from my experience here.”

“Went there for dinner. It has been a while since having been there last. The place was updated with a new outdoor dining area made, new party room, and possibly new HVAC system cause it was freezing cold in there. The food was good. Shrimp cocktail appetizer was tasty. The tacos El Gobernador (aka shrimp tacos) were spot on delicious. Sides on the plate were rice and charro beans. The rice was ok, has been way better on other visits. The charro beans were just awesome, best I have ever had from any restaurant. Will definitely be going back for more. My wife had the shrimp Laredo which according to her has been better on previous visits. The rice had never disappointed until today. Pina coladas were ok, not great but not bad either. One recommendation is if you come bring a light jacket as it is quite cold in there. All in all will definitely go back for more.”
