My moms hair was so grown out from being in hospice and Carla & her family took the time to even bleach my moms hair for me so she could be as beautiful in death as she was in life. “My other favorite Mexican joint is also inside a gas station so I may be biased 😅. Honestly stumbled across this place on a road trip and imagined average tex-mex. NO! THIS IS BY NO MEANS AVERAGE. This place has all the best qualities of a hole in the wall authentic restaurant shoved into a gas station with a simple menu done PERFECT. I only had the tacos, beans, rice and churro. Based on how good these were though, I would be SHOCKED if anything they offer was subpar. They have some of the best meat I've ever had in a taco. Fresh off the grill , with a good amount of char on every piece. Onion, herbs , and lime on the side in a simple corn tortilla and the fresh fried churro😭🥴!! They do the simple stuff and just hit it out of the park. This is universal comfort food!”
